Me and boyfriend came here for 3 nights for are 3rd stop from are travels round Thailand n the staff are friendly:) always there to help with everything! Rooms are lovely exactly the pictures on here.... If I'd come back I'll be coming this resort! And I'd recommend it to anyone to stay in this one! Plus the food is spot on, best food I've had in a resort. Ps, if your going koh pangnagh after here then here is the place I'd recommend to stay here as the big Buddha pier is right near here what takes you straight across!

Small resort with nice bungalows, directly on the beach of Bophut, next to the pier.
They have also o nice restaurant with helpful staff.
You can enjoy water sports or a great massage in the garden.
You can walk to Big Buddha or you can also drive or walk to the Fisherman's Village.
And if you are planning to go to Koh Phangan it's perfect because you can take the boat directly from the pier.
We had a great stay.

Great place to relax and day trip out to the amazing surrounding islands. Awesome to have a home to come back to or stay and laze away the day. Not in the thick of things but plenty of massage, bars and restaurants. Great to be looked after. Stay here!

Myself and my girlfriend stayed in the Samui Pier Resort from 15th february for 5 nights.

The hotel itself is very pretty, it has its own private beach right next to the pier. Lovely chairs and hammocks close to the beach perfect for watching the sunset every night.

The hotel manager Yan was very helpful, welcoming and had a very good knowledge of Samui. We enquired about hiring out a scooter for the 5 days which he sorted out for us very quickly, He reccomended a beautiful beach to visit called Crystal Bay, aswell as a really good thai restaurant.

The room was perfect for what we needed and what we paid. Spent very little time there, but it was cleaned every day, the shower worked well, and we had a beautiful view of beach from our balcony.

We had breakfast at the hotel every morning and it was spot on every day. The staff were more than helpful and on hand at any time. Only one negative I have to say really is there was one elder Thai women behind reception who was very rude and abrupt to my girlfriend when she asked if it would be possible to use the phone. And once again when I asked if Yan was available. Maybe she was just having a bad day.

The hotel is situatued a 5 minute drive from fishermans village which is good for a bit of food on the beach, a few bars and some shopping. Had a lovely meal at Yin Yang on the beach, obviously due to the location on the beach was a bit pricier than other places we ate.

Overall we had a fantastic stay and will definitely consider coming back next time we visit Samui. Yan the owner was a great help and seems very passionate and knowelgeable about the island.

I'll start by saying I'm impossible. I know this, as do my family, friends and anyone who has had the displeasure of serving me. My standards are high, and unfortunately, I have a knack for noticing defects and have no qualms about pointing them out.

I went on an island hopping holiday with two friends ( a challenge in itself!) we stayed in numerous hotels and resorts and experienced countless airplanes, trains, busses, ferries and taxis drivers.

By time we had arrived at koh Samui Pier resort, all three of us had vowed to never stray far from home again!! The service and treatment we recieved so far on our travels had been nothing short of disgusting and rude, bordering on blatant disinterest. In a country strongly reliant on tourism, it's clear that you are just another cash cow tourist.

This was not the case at Samui Pier Resort-

As the staff lifted our heavy luggage, so did our moods.
Our tired, disappointed demeanor started to dissolve the moment we arrived at the front desk. Greeted with a smile, eye contact and a sense that they were happy to see us. This is so rare in hospitality.

Staff maketh the stay-

Yanniv, the manager, who is in constant demand, was always readily available to each guests whim and pleased to do everything in his power to ensure each guest was happy, comfortable and in a constant state of relaxation. This man is the oracle of Koh Samui island, he knows what to do and where to go any night of the week!
Absolutely brilliant! Thank- you, you truly made our stay unforgettable.

Samui pier resort strikes the the perfect balance of their staff being available when u need them and disappear when not. And this is a tricky, tricky balance in hospitality. I was in awe! 6 star service at a ridiculously low price.

(I wouldn't be surprised if they had little elves heating the sea water to the right temperature!)

The food is well priced, the staff are happy to be there, always ready with a smile and a suggestion regarding food and their value for money cocktails! Delicious!

The rooms are super clean with aircon, decent shower, a fridge to store your drinks and daily room cleaning which is done In the afternoon or whenever is convenient for you.

The calibre of guest is just the right mix and the resort is perfectly placed so you are central enough to laundry mats, shops, to rent a scooter or grab a taxi to the nightlife area of Chaweng.

What I experienced here was a holiday you see in a magazine. This resort/ haven made me fall in love with Thailand. We were sorry we went anywhere else. So much so, we extended our stay at the resort.

Thank- you to all the staff for their exceptional service, from the food, the rooms, to the view, we can't thank- you enough for making our holiday. When people speak of Thailand, I will mention Samui pier resort. Keep up the good work.

PS: I miss my perfect cappuccino being delivered to me each morning as sat outside watching the boats dock at the pier.

WOW WOW WOW!!!!

Room Tip: Get a room near the sea front:)

contrary to some recent reviews i believe this hotel to be wonderful.
My boyfriend and i stayed here in early february, this was perfect timing as it was lovely and hot, however slightly cloudy, that did not affect our stay at all, in fact it was quite nice for the clouds to come over us especially when it was very hot.
The hotel itself was beautiful, chilled out music during the day and slightly more upbeat in the evening. The rooms were clean and simple (how much time do you really spend in your room though?) there was enough space to put all our belongings away and a big enough safe to fit out money, passports, phones (during the day) and cameras at night in. Our room was the cheapest room available yet was still nice, the bed was comfortable and thats all that really mattered to us.
Other reviews have said about the noise from the club next door however our room was directly next it because it was the back room but we didn't hear anything. we believed the room to be cheap for what it was, £299 for 2 weeks.
The manager was very friendly we had many talks with him and he was more than happy to arrange a taxi for us to the airport at the end of our stay for a cheap price. 300baht. he would also always come and talk to us when we were by the beach or eating dinner just to check on us which was lovely, at least he cared; however we didn't feel as if we were being interrupted in any way. The staff were very friendly also always smiling and willing to have a chat about our day, in particular one member john lent us his fishing rod so we could go fishing one evening and also advised us on where to go and what bait to use. Unfortunately their english was not great so some things they did not understand, however it was enough for us to communicate effectively. the food was lovely however was slightly expensive for the area though it was still cheaper than eating in england! so nothing to complain about there, same with the drinks. Though we could buy out own drinks of an evening from the minimart of 7/11 which were very cheap and drink all night! we were also offered to rent jet skis and kayaks, which we did; the jet skis were a little expensive however the kayaks were cheap to rent and we watched the sunset on one which was beautiful.

Also as a little tip i would recommend looking into going on the chantara junk boat which docks at the big buddah pier.

We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone, we are highly considering coming back next year and staying with them again
