Description: Tamarina Bistro&Bar is a Thai fusion seafood spot boating one of the best sunset view on Samui island. We value the art of traditional Thai cooking in combination with locally sourced seafood and a twist of Italian influence. Come relax and unwind under our ocean front Tamarind tree, we are ready to serve you!

Great views, pretty good food, decent service and good prices. What more can you ask for?

Got to the restaurant in time for sunset. Restaurant had just 5 or do tables occupied. We ordered a couple of drinks, took some photos and then ordered so e food...massaman and a green curry.

Food took a while but arrived piping hot and was pretty tasty. 3 drinks, the food (inc spring rolls and rice) came to just over 1000 bht which compared to the top end restaurants is nothing.

Paid the bill and the batman ordered us a taxi. Couldn't have asked for more. Don't expect Michelin star service but for the price, it's hard not to argue...

Thank Andrew L

Like all places that become a tourist haunt, it has started to "westernise" their Thai dishes, so they're not so authentic anymore. Still a good place to come because they are usually not crowded and the price is reasonable, if a little higher than the norm. You get a great view of the sunset and it's a nice place to come for a drink.

This restaurant has one of the best sunset views on Koh Samui and is worth visiting for that reason alone. It's open to the sea and enjoying a drink as the sun sets over the distant hills is hard to better. The food is good - a choice of Thai or traditional western dishes including fish and chips - probably somewhere to have supper rather than cook in, but not probably a "special occasion" destination. Check out the opening hours: it wasn't open for breakfast or lunch and we were turned away shortly after 8pm on Sunday because the kitchen had already closed. Well worth a visit - and take your camera!

Rented mountain bikes from our hotel and took a ride to the big Buddha which is where we found BBC. It's a big place and we were 2 of only 6 people there for lunch.

The views are fab and the food was good. I had the pad se ewe which was super tasty and my husband had the burger and fries. We were very happy with our meal.
