This review is for the Lamai branch. Basically, it was an evening of long waits! We got a table quickly enough, but then a long wait to get a menu, a long long wait to order, even longer wait for the drinks to arrive and more than an hour to get our meals.
The main problem seemed to be that the restaurant was understaffed. We saw our dishes come off the BBQ (hungry people watch these things!). But after the cook had rung the bell 3 times for service, he actually left the cooking station to bring our food himself.
We ordered the general Asador BBQ choice of red snapper served with potato and sweetcorn and they were basically ok when they arrived (sauce was very very garlicy). But the long wait made it all very miserable. Also the women's toilet was almost ankle deep in mucky water so basically unusable.
There are much better places in Lamai so I would stay well clear in future.
