Another amazing thai restaurant in fishermans village. Food was delicious and a little bit different from what is on offer elsewhere. We had salmon skewers to start which were fabulous. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

I made a reservation by email well in advance as to not miss this place whilst we only had 1 night on Koh Samui (stayed in Koh Tao) The restaurant is small with a very funky and Flamboyant interior. Vivien is very passionate about his food and an excellent host. The chalk boards for starters and main courses was comprehensive but Vivien helped us to choose and recommend what we should try. I had salmon cakes served with strawberry sauce, sounds strange but OMG its taste sensation. I told Vivien he should bottle it to sell! Both my Husband and I enjoyed every mouthful and the playful and unique presentation of the food was humorous and memorable. We really enjoyed our meal here and the only regret would be that we could only visit this place once due to moving on. Have a laugh with the slogan on the waitresses t-shirts!

As other reviews suggest from the outside of the cafe you do wonder what the fuss might be about - but inside (which is sort of 70s camp disco decor!) you'll get a warm welcome and discover that the food here is immense. We went twice during our stay and would have gone more if time allowed. The food is Thai with a twist and sometimes you do wonder 'will this work', but Vivian knows his flavour combinations and everything we tried was wonderful. Curry pie (filo and green curry with soft mango and sweet Thai basil) left my other half 'yummmmm'-ing for about a day whenever it was mentioned! Excellent value and Vivian will be happy to chat about any of the food you've tried.

Our second trip to Koh Samui in 2 years, this time with a group of friends. We made sure they didn't miss out on this gem in Bophut. The cafe/restaurant has expanded slightly, and if possible it's a little more funky. The food maintains it's delicious modern take on traditional Thai dishes. The staff are just as friendly, and the owner/chef greeted us like old friends. The free Ice Cream for all of us celebrating a birthday was a special treat on a hot night. I can't recommend this place more highly.

the food was outstanding, the presentation was very funky and the prices were very cheap. It's not far from the Mantra Samui, its very popular though so make sure you call ahead and make a reservation.
