We loved this hotel. The location is perfect right by the beach and only a short walk from Fisherman's village and all it's restaurants.

The rooms are clean, cool and comfortable. The service was always great. The pool is big, and has a lot of sun chairs so you don't need to worry about getting one. Also some chairs on the beach.

The breakfast is great and has a lot of varieties. Lunch and happy hour offers were good. Otherwise the restaurant is quite expensive, but still cheaper than many of the hotels around. Also, there are heaps of restaurants just a short walk away.

We stayed at the Peace Resort for 9 nights and could not fault it. The Private Bungalows are really comfortable and relaxing. The luscious gardens are beautiful. Pool and sea were of a great temperature. Excellent breakfast choice. Great Lunch and Bar offers. Excellent massage for a great price. Ideally located to visit the Fisherman's village. We would recommend this hotel to everybody!

Room Tip: The superior room is completely adequate for a couple. The deluxe only seems to offer a bath instead...

Where do i start from check in it was just amazing the Staff on arrival were so helpful and happy and kind (KRIT)..***

a beautiful walk through the ground to our villa

it’s a one of a kind stay you have your own little villa with everything you could need.

the food onsite was nice but 10 minute walk down the road to the Fishermans markets and there is plenty to choose from.

the pool was good and the sun bathing was just as good by the pool or by the sea

recommend to take your own drinks to the pool.

i would 100% go back and would recommend this for everyone

the hotel was of good quality but compared with the surrounding area very v expensive for drinks and food.
having been told that Thailand was well priced, to be given a bill of £150 for 4 people after a barbecue buffet with a few drinks and a bottle of wine nearly fell off my stool

This place is only 4 star on many booking sites, but I think it should be at least a 4.5 if not a 5! it is glorious! From the off the street reception, to the staff, to the individual bungalows, to the gorgeous restaurant, to the pool/bar area, to the best massage Ive ever had - everything was wonderful! And surprisingly reasonably priced!

The only thing I would comment negatively on - to be very picky - was the sand on the beach was a bit coarse to walk to the Fishermans Market, but I thought of it more of an exfoliant! (husband not so impressed). The water in the bay was a little milky.

Good location, short walk to Fishermans Market, which has local markets on Friday nights. Excellent recommendation for snorkelling at Ko Tao from waitstaff (Julee) who was lovely, and taught us some Thai at breakfast. My husband was impressed with the breakfast buffet (he rates resorts/hotels on this alone), omelette station, european selection, cereals, bacon, yoghurt, fruit etc.

Would certainly recommend staying here. It was lovely and romantic as a couple, but also would suit families with small children - kids pool, kids room etc.

After 3 nights in busy Bangkok and 5 in Phuket my husband and I were definitely ready for the relaxing part of our 2 week holiday and staying at the peace resort delivered just that....total relaxation! A stunning hotel which uses the natural surroundings as features of the hotel. Check in smooth, staff lovely. Our accommodation was a cute hut which was basic but absolutely gorgeous. Problem with mosquitos in the room due to cleaners leaving the door open. Not a problem though as soon as we mentioned it in passing to a member of staff they immediately sent for our room to be fumigated on the next clean which was really appreciated. We stayed on a half board basis - breakfast and dinner included. All eaten at the lovely Sea wrap restaurant which overlooked the beautiful beach and ocean. Pool and private beach area were stunning. Plenty of sunbeds and towels. Bear in mind it was rainy season when we went so I can imagine it getting quite full during peak season. Overall very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

We were staying in the Fishermans Village but after an exploratory walk we signed up for a 4 course cooking class with Chef Pramote at Peace Resort. If you are new to Thai cooking this course is fantastic. Chef and his assistants guide you through the preparation and cooking of your choice from 4 different menus each of 4 courses. The course is now held in a dedicated and beautifully kitted out kitchen. I have been cooking Thai food at home since my first visit here 30 years ago but Chef Pramote is so full of tips and knowledge that it was worth every Baht. Warning: do not eat breakfast before this course. We were also given an apron to keep and a certificate of completion. Great fun, great food and lovely staff. Highly recommended.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Situated on Bophut beach in the northeast of the island, the Peace Resort is a newly refurbished, friendly bungalow style resort, ideal for a relaxing family getaway. The style is best described as contemporary Thai with the architecture following local traditions, but a transformation in 2008 has given a more up-scale look and feel while the prices have remained very reasonable. The resort is well laid out in small buildings, ensuring a more intimate, human scale, while the grounds are tranquil and green, with a restaurant that spills out onto the beach. ... more   less
