We went to nirvana on trip advisor and hotel recommendations, and we were astounded by the quality of the food, the relaxed atmosphere and the service by the owner who was polite, friendly, yet unobtrusive. The menu is quite small, as is the restaurant itself, but it lends itself to a more personal, quality and relaxed dining experience. The food is very reasonably priced (2 excellent mains, 3 glasses of wine, and a singa for 1220 baht approx). We've been to some of the 'fancier' restaurants in Chiang mai, (riverside, the gallery) and this absolutely topped them. Highly recommended.
