Neat golf club very near to Bophut. The greens were very well maintained, and we enjoyed a fun round of golf.
Additionally, the gold club has a rather cool ZORB run, which the kids very much enjoyed! A ZORB is an inflatable plastic ball which you sit or stand in as it rolls down a grass or snowy slope!
Affordable, but certainly not cheap, publicly accessible course near Bo Phut. Nice to have a caddy, which resulted in a couple of birdies. Course is pretty difficult to find.
I played here 4 times in Jan 2013. I'm no golfer having only played 18 holes once in my life (need left handed clubs and all my friends play right handed) but loved playing here. You can rent clubs (they even have 1 set of lefties) and you get a caddie each plus 4 golf balls. For around £25 each it's a little over priced for Thailand but hey I had a lot of fun.
The course is quite hilly and the holes are all quite narrow. Plenty hazards to avoid - or in my case hit! Irons are all you need off the tee. Well worth a visit. Make sure you wear trainers rather than flip-flops! Wear plenty mossie spray. Very humid so worth bringing a fresh t-shirt to change into after your round. Beers available even while playing. Great way to spend a couple of hours. Caddies all have limited English but lovely people.
