“Really friendly people running the hotel”

I stayed there on a Friday night before going to Koh Phangan.
There was a market on so very busy and slightly noisy outside.
Really friendly staff, I left my passport in my room and discovered this is Koh Phangan. They immediately found it and then sent it to the postoffice on my island for me to pick up and sign for.
Went out of my way to help.
Bed was comfy
Thank you!

Room Tip: If staying on a Friday night, request room that doesn't overlook the market on street Apparentl...

I'll start off with the only negative about this hotel: if you're a beach person then the Bophut stretch of beach that the hotel is at is not the best place for you: it's a narrow beach with coarse sand, not much shade and the water is cloudy.

However, the seaside facing rooms of the hotel are great (6 of them) with incredible views of the always changing ocean and Koh Phangan. The small roof-top pool is fantastic and you'll very likely have it to yourself most of the time. And the location of the hotel in the small charming village of Bophut is a far cry from the commercial busyness of the eastern Koh Samui beaches. Plus there's a good mix of cheap local restaurants, road-side stalls as well as expensive restaurants.

Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Choose the seaside facing rooms of which there are six. the most expensive are on the ground with pr...

Koh Samui (like Bali) can be anything you want it to be. 5 star to back packer dormitory. The trick is to find that bit that suits you. Our hotel was comfortable, clean and its location was fine, being away from party goers without breaking the bank. The beach front street has plenty of good restaurants and shops. “Julie” on the front desk was very helpful and always smiling. A word of warning though. Friday night, the street becomes part of a 1km long “walking street” as lots of food & merchandise stalls line the alley. This was great, BUT, it bought associated “doof doof” music competing with opposition “techno” noise that seemed to be louder in our room than the street. Bring back the 10pm curfew I say! The cacophony of sound ceased at midnight.
One negative about our room was the 2 windows between the bedroom and bathroom. They had wooden frames, but no glass in them. Only a thin bamboo blind!!!!

Well situated hotel in Fisherman Village. Bars and restaurants just a minutes walk away.
Lovely top floor room with balcony and a view over the sea, facing Koh Phangan. Away from the street so quiet
Large comfortable bed.
Air-conditioned with ceiling fan so kept cool.
Not enough hanging space though.
Bathroom is ensuite, but open plan so you can be seen and heard.
Small pool and lounge area on the roof. Take no more than 5 people. Nice place to chill at the end of the day before going out for the evening.
Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Hotel was calm and quiet, but would probably suggest a sea facing room if you don't want to be d...

Stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed it! We booked the eco twin room online as we were on a tight budget. I knew the room was going to be small but I wasn't really prepared for how tiny it actually was. Especially after we saw the Hacienda suite village view room....it was great! The staff member offered to give us a free upgrade to this room since it wasn't occupied! The hotel is in a great location in Fisherman's Village, with a spectacular view of Bophut Beach (though this isn't a swimming beach), and is just a short drive to many other amazing beaches on the island. Would definitely stay here again.

L'Hacienda has a good location in Fisherman village as it is within 3 minutes walking from all the bars and restaurants, but still nice and quiet at night. The rooms are well appointed and clean and the staff is lovely and very helpful. I had a village view room, which was fine, but next time I will definitely book a sea view room, can't beat that view.

Well located in fisherman village we're you've got lots of dining choices (thus not crowded or noisy), the hacienda is a great value for money pick. The team is very friendly and helpful as they helped to arrange our activities on the island.
Don't miss a drink on the top floor pool by sunset!!!
