If you are looking for a budget place to stay, then this is a pretty good option, especially if you are planning to go to full moon party, as the pier is very close by. However if you've come to Samui to relax and enjoy a few nights of better then average resort, then this place will probably dissapoint you.

The room was pretty good with comfortable beds, snacks available for purches. The sink in the bathroom was a bit too small. The patio was nice and that's the only place where wifi worked, bc it didn't work in the room.

The pools looked old and a bit dirty....same thing with sun loungers: very old! The sun loungers are located right by the pool and not right on the beach, so you have to walk down the stairs to get to the beach and there isn't that much shade there. The beach itself is not that beautiful! We saw much much prettier beaches in Thailand!

The restaurants are very average.....same same but...still same.....in fact when we had an early morning excursion, we had to go to the one across the road (still considered part of the resort). We asked them to make food fast bc we were in a hurry, but it still took them 30mins to bring an american breakfast.....

The reception was good. Staff was friendly and willing to help. You can book different excursions with the front desk if you wish. They can also book a ferry for you for the full moon party (we never made it because of the storm)

We recently stayed here for nearly a week. It is set up like a true resort- 2 pools, 2 restaurants and nicely landscaped. The place is decent, and at 600 baht for a fan room it's a steal (for samui). Wifi works great all over the resort, the rooms are clean, and the food is probably the best in the area. Downside: there is not much to do nearby, and the planes overhead got to be a little annoying.

Ended up staying here by accident and was pleasantly surprised. Nice little resort in Ban Rank. Good restaurant which does Thai and western food. The american breakfast is great value for money. 140 baht for eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, tea or coffee, orange juice and fruit platter. Nice friendly staff. The cheap fan rooms (600 baht a night) are cleaned daily - with hot shower, TV, fridge and fresh bottled water given free every day, nice pool area and gardens, beach rooms across the road - with a lovely quiet beach and fantastic view of big Buddha. The only downside is the proximity to the airport, with planes flying so low overhead it has to be seen to be believed! Would definitely stay here again.

If you are expecting a 5 star resort look somewhere else but if you are looking for a cheap, place to spend a few nights by the pool and close to the pier then this is your place!

we booked this hotel through during high season and were happy that the prices weren't ridiculously high like some other places on the Island. The staff there are amazing!! They booked all our ferries for us (at no extra charge), we rented scooters from them, got our laundry done all very easily. They made our stay at Samui so enjoyable! I would come back again just because of them!

The bungalow with fan was perfect, It wasn't too hot at night because you got a good breeze and the fan was strong. All the windows had screens on them to keep out the little geckos. We have stayed in quite a few places in thailand and this place was great value for the money!

The only downside to this hotel were the planes that flew by. they only flew by during the day (not through the night) so it wasnt too bad but a few days we got an early wake up call from them.

The only thing they could add to help this place out is a bottle opener in the room.

It is about a 10 min drive to the main area of Samui (for nightlife and bars) but there are lots of local restaurants near the hotel for a nice meal. (I would recommend U2 on the main road, they have great thai food)

I had just discussed with my sister what sort of person complains about a hotel when it is actual fact perfectly nice. This one is worth complaining about.

We booked two nights at this hotel. The pictures are absolutely misleading. The rooms reeks of smoke, there's a massive gap in the door for mosquito's and cockroaches, and the shower points at the ceiling, thus making it more like using a bum-gun and not a shower. Our ocean view room, of course, did not have a few of the ocean.

Customer service is a joke. Even though there are other rooms available online, we were told there isn't and that no other guest has ever complained about the room. We have been travelling Thailand for 3 weeks, and have stayed in much better places for a fraction of the price.

Room Tip: Avoid this place
