I've just spent four nights at Eden after what must have been my fifth or sixth stay there. This time I stayed in what is a multi-occupancy bungalow which was comfortable for one. In addition to the twin bed there is a small platform bed - see picture - which will easily take a kiddy but not an adult. I can't answer for the food now because I haven't eaten there for ages but when I did I had nothing to complain about.

As usual the staff were friendly and there was no problem with the housekeeping. For some where right in the village with a little pool the kids love I've always found it good value and will almost certainly be back.

We stayed two nights at Eden Bungalows in two rooms. The location was just perfect in the heart of Fisherman's Village - a quieter part of Koh Samui but with plenty of restaurants to choose from and steps from the beach. If you are there on a Friday night, the walking street is fantastic and visitors came from all over the island to experience it. The bungalows are in our opinion just OK. We found several large cockroaches in our room, which did not bother us but would be a problem for some. The pool was small and the vibe of the place was somewhat unwelcoming. Breakfast was not included and when we did eat at the restaurant it was quite pricy. We were meeting up with family for the rest of the week and chose to move next door rather than continue our stay here.

Bonjour .

Good size bungalows hidden from each other by beautiful gardens close to an excellent pool. Our stay was next to the pond full of Koi with the sound of running water in the background. We ate out every meal at beach side restaurants so can't comment on the food. It is a budget hotel and for the money it was excellent value, great location and recommended. I would be very happy to stay there again.

My daughter and granddaughter are staying at this accommodation, therefore the review is mostly from their comments. They love it.The bungalow has a beautiful large and pretty terrace, along with cosy and clean living and sleeping area, with tasteful quirky shelving.Their pictures tell it all.Nicest of all is to follow.I emailed Eden Bungalows to say I had sent a birthday card there for my granddaughter, who had been backpacking with her mum for 2 months, and would they kindly give it to her on it's arrival.I received a lovely reply from a member of staff, who has apparently arranged for my granddaughter to have a cake and flowers as a surprise. This will be happening as I write this review. How wonderfully kind of the lady who arranged this[would love to mention her name, but perhaps I shouldn't] Just amazing hospitality and kindness.

As we checked in at Eden I felt sad that I had met my first rude Thai person. The young girl on reception was cold, rude and disinterested. Once we reached our room I forgot all that as it was truely fun and lovely. An outdoor shower and kids mezzanine gave unique touches. I was pleased with my choice. However as the days went on the continued rudeness and cold attitude of the staff got me down. After one breakfast with not even so much as a hint of a smile I made sure we never ate there again. The food was good but that alone wasn't enough. Upon returning home at around 11pm one evening the young girl barked at us that they were closed. After repeating that we were guests she made us access our room via the scruffy side ally rather than let us pass through. It was only after this day that the reason for all this rudeness rang true. I am not going to repeat the words of past reviewers regarding the some what arrogant owner but I will say, they are correct and accurate. It's rather ironic to be corrected on your French in Thailand. Perhaps the locals should pick the guy up on his lack of local language skills. A perminant inconvience to all there it seems booking a taxi to the airport as promised was just too troubling. We live in HK and were looking for a place to visit frequently, this will not be it.
I don't pay to be treated in such a way and not in a country with such warm and friendly people.

this place is in the enter of bophut and the old fishermans village...great location...good menu, but just so convenient to everything......the showers are interesting and the little balconies, comfy and inviting...ac if you need it, just keep the bathroom door closed because mosquitoes abound....the owners are very helpful and rent scooters to get around.....overall...a great place that's good for the adult scene.....

So we didn't actually stay at Eden Bungalows, but boy do we wish we had! We are currently staying at a hotel in Crystal Cove and happened upon Eden while exploring the island. We walked past the bungalows to get to the beach-front bar/restaurant, and they looked lovely! The hotel has a nice pool, great outdoor bar, and wonderful new lounge chairs, complete with comfortable padding and umbrellas. We had a few beers and took advantage of the quiet atmosphere for a while before jumping back on our moped. When we returned to our hotel and realized we could be enjoying the comforts of Eden for only $8 more per night than what we are paying for something MUCH less nice, well.. Let's just say we were disappointed. I wish I had come across Eden while looking on trip advisor a few days ago. Though we are booked at our current hotel for the duration of our stay, we may return to Samui at the end of the week. If we do, we will definitely be staying at Eden!!
