There were 7 of us looking to get away. We needed a place with 5+ bedrooms. And this place delivered!
Gaynor was a delight to deal with and I had a number of questions which were quickly responded to. Organising a driver? No problem, we were met at the airpost and driven to our accomodation. Question about the pool? No worries I'll send someone over. Arrival/departure times were no issue and as well as being collected from the airport we were welcomed at the house and TV, airconditioner, WIFI, electricity reading were all easily explained and dealt with
Location: This house is a 5 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf area. We walked in every day for meals/drinks/shopping. The house is in a court or dead end street so there is no through traffic and traffic noise from the main road cannot be heard at the house. Even the night market noise was a distant hum. Walking in/out of Fisherman;s Village we felt perfectly safe. There is a family mart just up the road and a 7/11 across the road for any food/drinks. Being on the main road transport was never an issue.
Bedrooms: 5 well appointed bedrooms, each with their own ensuite, ceiling fan, TV and air conditioner. The beds were a lot firmer than we were used to but we still slept well (& if we didn't there is a divine Thai massage around the corner)
Kitchen: fully appointed including large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fabulous island bench.
LOunge area: great size for the 7 of us to lounge around, play cards, watch TV or just relax. Really comfortable couches
Pool: used daily! Fabulous pool right outside the door. The pool area is tiled & tiles can become slippery when wet, so we were careful where we placed our feet. There were recliners & an outdoor setting to realx on. An outdoor shower and toilet are also near the pool area
Visitors: Gecko city, the geckos visited us every night & were really cute to watch scampering up & down the outside walls.
You do need to take your own rubbish up to the main road for collection, which was never a problem, and be aware the plumbing system in Thailand doesn't necassarily cope with flushed toilet paper therefore there were disposal bins in each ensuite.
Would I go back there again? Yes I would
