Tranquil and welcoming with good restaurant for dinner. Old colonial feel, large rooms with comfy beds and lovely gardens. Breakfast was great and the staff are very helpful. Good place to stay and explore this area, woukd definitely go back.

We were really impressed by the efficient organisation. We had booked a special, including two nights accommodation, a Segway ride and a treetop canopy. Once we had booked in there was no further paper-work and we were welcomed at the Segway and the canopy tour offices, where all the details of our booking were already recorded. The accommodation at the Village Inn was first class. Our only complaint was that the web-site describes three different venues for dining, but in fact the same menu is offered in the a la carte restaurant, the pub and the cafe. This meant fewer menu choices and was especially disappointing because the other restaurant featured on the web-site (Marilyn's diner) was not open in the evenings mid-week. Apart from this small problem, everything else was highly satisfactory and the lay-out of the rooms (many different building styles) grouped around the central "village green" was charming and beautiful. We would definitely recommend friends travelling in the area to stay at this hotel.

Dear Anne P,

Thank you kindly for your feedback. Much appreciated.

We do have three different venues, but as you've mentioned, we do have the same menu....we can seat in total 200 guests, so it is easier for the kitchen to handle. However, we'd like to think that the choices on the menu are quite a nice variety....? We'll be changing our menu in January again. :)

Marilyn's 60's Diner is closed in the evening as it is very quiet in the village. In-season we are open during the evenings, as well as Friday and Saturday nights during the quiet times.

Come visit us soon. Kind regards, Irma

We stayed for 2 nights and were very pleased with the accommodation which was excellent value for money and included a ride on a Segway and a Canopy tour. However the options for eating out were limited - both the restaurant and the pub had the same limited menus. No other restaurants in the area were open in the evening.

Dear John R,

Thank you so much for your feedback. Happy to hear you enjoyed our accommodation. :)

Sorry to hear that you found our menu limited....we have a good choice of Light Meals, Hamburgers, Salads, Appetizers and 11 choices of Mains, with Desserts and Cherry-On-Tops. It seems that you have to visit us next time again, because beginning next year we'll be having a new menu. :)

Take care. Kind regards, Irma

This was my second visit to Tsitsikamma Village Inn and the rooms are still fresh and the garden is beautiful. If you want to break away from the hustle and bustle, this is the ideal place. Its a great base if you want to do the activities on offer in the Tsitsikamma.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. We have stayed here many times, en route from Cape Town to East London. Lovely, friendly staff and an equally friendly, furry friend, Ginger the cat ! This is one of our family's favourite hotels.

Thank you kindly, we appreciate your feedback, and are looking forward to your next stay with us! :)

Your furry friend, Ginger, has taken over my office chair today, and made it his spot for most of the day, so I'm standing and typing!?

This was our second stay at the Village Inn and unfortunately a disappointing stay as the room that we were given had a strong smell of damp and the tables at the restaurant were still not cleared from the previous patrons, it wasn't a particular busy evening so perhaps management needs to address this with staff.

My Husband and I spent a glorious time there....we were suppsoe to book out after three nights and stayed an additional night which was accomodated without an hassle.....
Its just important for all hotels to know how important it is to cater "Halaal" meals for their Muslim Geusts.we were well looked after in the eating area!
