Myself and brother/ best friend stayed at the Aegean Park Hotel and became part of their family!! One of the partners who own the resort are Eddie and Terri. They were personally attentive to our comfort, we were taken to private buffet style parties, met their friends and even invited to their home. We thank them for their kindness.

Their staff: Ayse, Fatma, Ibo, Chaalaa, chaalaa's dad guard ( guy in maybe 50's with White mustash, Alpacino (name we gave him as he looked and acted like the man) lol, another guard forgot his name and the chef and Effe son to another partner of the resort. These are my 2nd family in Turkey now and they will always have a place in my heart!!

U WILL LOVE IT!!! Going back ASAP!!!

Thank you for your great review, but it must be pointed out that Aegean Park is not owned by any "partners" or company. Aegean Park is a private resort jointly owned by all the owners of each individual apartment.

aegean park is a fantastic place to take family, lovely aprtments, lovely pool, lovely staff who can not do enough for you. yes it's a bit of a walk to the beach (if you choose to walk and not take the free bus) but it's a great way to see Altinkum. Turkish people are the nicest people you will ever meet. Beautiful places to visit, fantastic culture, and you get the feeling you are visiting the 'real' country, not some man made touristy place.
restaurants offer free lifts home just ask when you book. (don't feel cheeky) it's part of the experience. just say when you want to go. Yes, you can get pestered at the markets, but stay polite and they will accept a nice ' No thank you'. We can't wait to go back!

When we arrived I must admit I thought we were in the wrong place! Doesn't exactly look like the pictures. How wrong I was! Mustafa's dad greeted us and made us feel really welcome. The apartment was clean and well maintained, the pool and bar were excellent but the staff are what really made our holiday special. Mustafa, Sinad,Ebay and of course Chef were fantastic company, polite and always eager to help. They were brilliant with my teenage son and his friend, playing draughts, pool and even seemed to enjoy getting thrown in the pool umpteen times a day! Although there is not an onsite shop the tansas supermarket is 5 minutes walk away and there are plenty lovely resteraunts close by. Dolphin square is lovely although really busy and be prepared. they all want your business and it can get quite annoying being stopped every 2 minutes. Everyone very eager to please but you should always haggle as you can save a fortune. Try Taffies boat trip, £15 all inclusive, also try Dolphin Square Cafe Bar, the boys are brilliant dancers and the competitions are a blast. All in all this was a superb holiday and we will definately be going back next year.

We arrived at the Aegean Park at gone midnight and the security man was waiting ready with our keys. We were shown straight to our apartment, but had to return to the security man for the remote control for the air con units. When opening the fridge, we had a Welcome Pack of bottled water, milk, orange juice, biscuits, tea, coffee, butter and jam. (A nice touch and very unusual!) The apartment was very clean and to a high standard, although we only had two english working tv channels! Inside the apartment there was a hairdryer, iron, ironing board, kettle, toaster, hob and microwave. Our balcony (18c) was tiny, we couldn't have sat out comfortably as a family of 4, and to be honest, I don't think our apartment should have been advertised as having a BBQ.
At the start of our holiday the pool was murky and after speaking with other people around the pool, ear infections were rife and most people were wearing ear plugs. However, at the end of our holiday the pool was much cooler and clearer and we had been advised a new pump had been fitted and the correct chemicals were now being used. Getting a sunbed is a NIGHTMARE! We found on our first day we got beds easily, but then realised that by 2pm the sun had gone from our beds and we were sat in the shade. Trying to get a bed in a good spot (the sun all day!) meant setting the alarm in the morning (0630-0700hrs!) otherwise you went without. Not what you expect to have to do on your holiday. The pool bar was ok, but imported drinks are expensive, they tend to create a tab on your apartment number, try to avoid this, some people said they had 'extra' drinks charged on their tab.
The beach is not walking distance in the heat, you can get a dolmus from the main road which is a 10 min walk (with small children and bags), but to be honest you'd be better off ringing one of the restaurants on the beach who will come and collect you and drop you home again. Make sure you take a phone with credit tho as whenever we asked anyone to call for us...no one had any credit! The beaches we went to (beach 1 and beach 3) were very busy and shingley until we were knee deep...sea was warm and clear tho. It's a nice stroll to the beach in the evening, as the front is where many of the shops and restaurants are.
The Aegean Park was advertised as having entertainment in the evening, a mini market and reception... it had none of the above! The only entertainment in the 2 weeks we were there was a karaoke night and bbq night.
Highly recommend the Jeep Safari - a fun day out, make sure you take water guns with you, they're expensive to buy once on the trip.
All in all we had a good holiday, met some lovely people (owners of apartments) and would go back there now we know what to avoid!!!

Just returned from Aegean Park enjoyed our stay but not as good as 2009 appartment 11b (18c was much bigger and cleaner in 2009) could have been cleaned more thorough but still a nice appartment a shame most of the bar staff have left Mustafa still very hard working and helpful. Arrived in the early hours and was greeted by Mustafas' father who was also very friendly and helpful. A big let down about the lack of entertainment the owners committee needs sorting out and realize this is also for their benifit because without the bar the complex would be dead. Sun bed system needs sorting to stop the people who reserve more beds than necessary just to follow the sun round or who are out on trips!!! be prepared to be up before 7 or you have no chance. Also wear ear plugs in the pool if you want to fly home on time lots of ear infections while we were there.

Just got back from the Aegean Park, we went with our 3 children and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
The apartment was very clean and it had every thing we needed. Other than the beds by the pool getting snapped up at stupid times in the morning, we have no complaints.
The staff were all great nothing was too much trouble( Hello to Sinan,Mustapha and of course Iman who was good company and kept us laughing when we were having our drinks before we retired to bed......
It was a decent 20 minute walk to the beach in Altinkum but along the way there are plenty of bars and and cafe's to eat and drink.
When you get to the beach there are many more places to eat and drink, if you like shopping then you love it, by the way you must haggle to get plenty of bargains....................
Overall it was our first time to turkey and we have no compaints the people are friendly and wherever you eat or shop they'll make a fuss of you, we'll be definately going back again next year.
