We spent the day here and had lunch, the setting is beautiful and so relaxing apart from one noisy small child. Lunch was nice and all fresh. Quite hard to get a waiters attention for drinks at some points but they were lovely and friendly and very helpful ! Apart from that it was a gorgeous place with fabulous views of the harbor and all the amazing yachts coming in.Nice pool with comfy beds and lots of umbrellas and towels provided. Would go back next time were here.

We have been visiting D-Marin restaurant for nearly five years but this is the first time we have stayed (two nights). Wonderful setting overlooking the marina, it has an extensive fitness and health centre and magnificent pool. The hotel room was large, clean and well appointed. We had lunch and were left sitting while staff members stood around and chatted. The food was very average. After our lunch experience we did not bother to have any other meals during our stay. The staff were friendly but not well trained for hospitality.
The outdoor areas are 'tired' .....paint peeling off the ceiling, tables chipped, everything has a sticky feel to it, some cleaning is required. A very big negative is the fact the public (non guests) are allowed to pay and use the pool which tends to make it like public baths with screaming children and lowers the tone considerably. It certainly isn't relaxing sitting by the pool. Obviously there have been a few changes of management during the years. The advertised free wifi is non-existent except for in a couple of small locations in the public area and then it is unreliable even there. Same goes for service, there's hardly any. Wouldn't stay again.

We stay regularly in altinkum, and one of my favourite things to do is visiting the marina, we usually go to the beach club during the day which is gorgeous, it's 30 lira to spend the day there but this entitles you to be able to use all the fasciitis including the pool in the yacht club, at the beach club you also receive a fresh orange juice or lemonade in with the price, towels are provided as is a sun lounger which are situated on a jetty into the sea, perfect. We would visit the yacht in the evenings for drinks, before eating in one of the restaurants, the setting is stunning, however I was more than shocked when I ordered a Mojito and they had got it completely wrong!!!! You can't have a place like this that can't even get the simplest of cocktails right. In saying that this is still my favourite place to visit while on holiday

The music from the nearby hotel is unacceptable. If one stays in the Marina Yacht Club, one expects a tranquil atmosphere. The manager of the marina and the manager of the yacht club hotel should insist that the Excellence Hotel nearby should turn down the volume. One actually want to sleep at night.
The service was not good, but the rooms spacious.
Coffee and tea in rooms- they really should provide 2 or 4 large jugs of water. Or do they expect one to use bottled water from the mini bar to make tea?
The hotel should provide 4 small bottles of complimentary water per person per day. I talked to some people who have stayed there before, they always go to the nearest shop, in the marina, and buy 24 bottles of water to use in their rooms.
But what is the point of staying in a lovely hotel, and having to do one's own "housekeeping"?
People whose yachts are on the hard, stay there and one thing us sure - enough complimentary free drinking water is needed.
We could not make coffee, as they forgot to bring coffee to the room!
The staff were not friendly, nor helpful.

This is a little piece of luxury for Altinkum/Didim. It can get a bit bonkers in Altinkum so this is an oasis of calm away from that.

We ate in the restaurant and it was nice. Yes more pricey than main Altinkum but to be expected given your surroundings. I spoke with people who had visited the restaurants when they had special offers on and they found them to be very good value.

The pool area is lovely, very clean and sea views. The beach club is cool and you can go straight in to the sea for a swim. The whole marina has a boutique feel and there are a few shops to browse too.

Lovely for a treat for those of us staying in the town.

Didim, the nearest town is built on the site of of the ancient city of Didyma with its ruined Temple of Apollo. It is a small and popular if somewhat down market seaside holiday resort full of Brits walking around badly attired and behaving in a way that clearly shows little respect for the fact that Turkey is a Muslim country.

The yacht club which has a Bar, Resturant, and hotel rooms is badly run and over priced despite, or perhaps because of, the discounts it offers to berth holders.

In the Bar and Restaurant service is shoddy and food unexciting. In the hotel, rooms are large and pleasantly facilitated but housekeeping is downright disgraceful. It was well after 2pm before our room was made up or the previous nights room service remnants removed.

Do not even think of sleeping with the windows open if you want a peaceful night. Despite being some way off in the distant late night music blares away at full pelt until around 4am

We stayed here for 2 nights, prior to a sailing holiday, in a Royal suite which accommodated 2 adults plus 13 year on a rollaway bed - (which was OK). It was very pleasant considering the 'bucket and spade' resort of Altinkum was only minutes away. The room was spacious enough even with the extra bed although at night you can here the music of other hotels across the bay. The yacht club had a boutique hotel feel about it but was relaxed and calm at the same time - we also popped over to the beach club which was very chilled with lovely sunbathing areas all with huge cushions and beds on jetties and steps into shallow sea for swimming. There are a couple of shops and restaurants in the development which we also visited and ate at, that were also very nice.

Room Tip: Royal suites have lovely balconies overlooking the marina.
