We stayed at the Castle Club room in this hotel for 3 days last week. Room is spacious and tidy. The location is perfect as it's a minute walk from the park and to Walt Disney Studios.
Every morning breakfast was exciting because Disney characters would come and play with you. My son thoroughly enjoyed it as it was like a dream come true for him.
Food was lovely especially at the California Grill.
We were facing the Disneyland Park so could watch the magical fireworks show from our room balcony itself.
It is a bit expensive but was worth it as my son had a lovely time.
Would recommend this hotel to all as it's very convenient and close to the park.
Had a memorable trip to this magical land !

If you are going to Disneyland Paris and can afford this hotel, this is really the only place to stay. We have previously stayed at The Explorers Hotel and The Dream Castle hotel - and they appeared cheaper, but when you work out what is included in your Disneyland Hotel stay, this is so worth it!

- A beautiful grand hotel
- Staff are very polite and helpful (except concierge - see in CONs below)
- We stayed half board and had breakfast included every morning with either lunch or dinner. The restaurants on-site are great; Inventions is great for the young ones as characters come round to your tables to take photos and spend a bit of time with you. Lovely!
- We got a family room, which was large and comfortable
- The swimming pool may be small, but it is indoor and a welcome break away from the hot weather outside!
- Tons of activities for the kids in the playroom
- Characters freely walk around this hotel - that's an added bonus as you wont need to queue up for them in the parks then!
- As you are walking distance away from both theme parks and the Disney Village, you dont need to queue up and take a shuttle back to your hotel at the end of a long tiring day. This was important for us as our kids; aged 4 and 2, were asleep as soon as the 11pm fireworks and Disney Dreams show finished and walking back to our room (rather than queueing and waiting for a shuttle along with hundreds of others) was a welcome treat!
- Fast passes are provided per day - useful if you like the thrill rides, not so useful for the rides that only little kids can go on as they are generally queueless - especially if you make use of the magic hours (enter the main park 2 hours before opening time).
- If you have a princess-mad little girl, book the pricey Auberge de Cendrillon lunch. It is well worth it and will make their holiday! Imagine lunch in an upmarket restaurant next to the castle within Disney and all the Disney princesses come round to talk to you, take pictures, give autographs. Amazing!

- It is pricey
- Concierge are quite unhelpful. They expect everyone to know what is on offer and what is around. Whenever i asked which restaurants i could use my half-board meal voucher for at dinner i was told to use it at Inventions and wasnt given any other options around the park. I felt they try and push their own restaurant rather than giving you the option for others. By chance we found out we could use it for the Wild West Show which was GREAT!!
- DO NOT BOOK CAFE MICKEY'S. It is a waste of money if you stay at the main hotel. The whole experience of Cafe Mickey's is to eat and have the characters come round to your table...but if you stay at the Disneyland Hotel you get this in Inventions every dinner time...dont waste money on Cafe Mickeys for the same thing!
- TV all in french. Seriously - this is Disneyland, all your visitors are going to be foreign - lets have some english universal channels please. Disney Junior in french is so not appealing to young kids who dont understand french!
- the hairdryer in the room is AWFUL!!! 5 star hotel needs better

On a side note, in this day and age, a 5 star hotel needs to be upgraded to;
- have a bigger tv
- more electrical sockets
- maybe an iPod / iPad docking station?
- USB charge points

Hopefully something to consider please Disneyland Hotel!

Room Tip: Try and get a family room, they are bigger, have a sofa and table. Much needed!

This hotel may once have been something special, however, we found it to be very old and worn with pricing in general through the roof... plus staff who have little care or concern for the 'magic' Disneyland is apparently meant to provide to children.

Having previously stayed at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel... this hotel would be the equivalent of 2 stars in comparison for quality, presentation plus general service from the staff.

We would never stay at this hotel ever again and would suggest to families who are seeking a 'magical' experience... stay outside the park in a far superior hotel and commute to the park.

Very disappointed.

We just returned from 4 nights at Disneyland Hotel travelling with our 3 1/2 year old. The convenience of this place and the added perks of seeing characters around the hotel make it pretty magical.

The bedroom was a nice size and the bathroom was very nice. One exception being that the shower head in our room was faulty and kept falling down. I'm being very nitpicky though because the general condition of the room was pretty excellent.

The hotel provided bed guards for both sides of the 3 year olds bed to prevent her rolling off onto the floor which made my stay much more restful. She really loved that "the fairys" would turn down our beds and leave chocolates on the pillows for us all.

We did the princess for a day experience which was a bit pricey at €100 (with photoshoot) but worth it to see how happy it made our little girl. We timed this to happen just before our visit to Auberge de Cendrillon (Princess Restaurant in Fantasyland) which made all of her photos with the Princesses really special.

The swimming pool was on the small side, but the changing rooms had steam and sauna rooms in them and everything you'd need including free lockers with keys.

We really enjoyed inventions. I've seen mixed reviews on here but we ate at inventions everyday for breakfast and twice for lunch. We liked it and found the service to be pretty good.

Room service and minibar are extortionately priced as so many are. We ordered up a bottle of wine one evening and they sent it up with a complimentary bowl of crisps which was a pleasant surprise.

Luggage service was brilliant, but be aware that if you are leaving your luggage with the hotel on the last day while you go to the park, ask the porter 15 minutes before the time you need it as we had a bit of a flap when our transfer coach was about to leave without us because our luggage wasn't ready.

Overall, loved our stay with Disneyland Hotel and would definitely stay here again.

I will first off agree that the price tag was not easy to swallow. We payed more staying here for three days compared to an all inclusive resort for a week. But, consider what you are paying for, experiences! I will always remember my first trip to Disneyland, and now my children will be able to say the same.
The hotel was everything that we expected. The beds were plush and the room was beautiful. The hotels charm was seen all the way down to the last detail. The staff were more than helpful and multi lingual. The restaraunts are well worth the money and the food was amazing. Make sure you do a full board or at least half board to take advantage of the additional perks like the Wild West show. We figured, if we payed everything seperately, we would have payed three to four hundred Euros more for food. Also, if you stayed at the hotel, you can make reservations at the surrounding restaraunts during luch and bypass the enourmous lines outside. And of course being able to enter the park early made the family feel like kings as well. We were also given a few fast passes per day and enjoyed being able to skip in line at the rides. Even with the price, we enjoyed our stay and would go back again and never change one thing!

One of the most stunning hotels I've ever stayed in, especially for our massive Disney fanatic family! The smell of this place is indescribable, and everything that surrounds you is Splendour. I don't think I will be able to go back to a budget hotel after this. It was better than I could have imagined. We only had 1 negative during our 5 day trip and that was down to the rudeness of a waitress during our breakfast. We brushed this off though and enjoyed the spectacular views of the castle and Christmas lights. We could even see the castle from our balcony. The log fire, the luxurious piano lounge and the pool made it all a very enjoyable stay. The location cannot be beaten and it really has that magic that you'd expect from Disney!

Room Tip: Castle view rooms are a must!

We stayed here 4 years ago and had a wonderful time, but the service has deteriorated. We were in a suite, with "Castle club" privileges. Prices are extremely high, although the amenities and room facilities are average. The staff are careless and service is not high on the agenda. We continuously felt as if we were being "ripped off".
We had to ask twice for coffee cups in the room.
Our toilet was either not flushing properly, or would not stop flushing - we asked 3 times before it got fixed.
My son's toy gun was taken from the room twice - once it was found in the hotel's laundry room (among the bed linen), and the second time the toy was not found, but was replaced by the hotel.
We had to ask 3 times before the bar fridge was emptied.
We were over- charged on room service, only to be told that the menu in our room was "old". Of course we refused to pay the "new" prices.
Lighting in the room was poor - reading was absolutely impossible. We also had to ask for 2 light bulbs to be replaced (5 star, remember?)
My daughter got hungry one evening while we were viewing the "dream show" out of the castle club breakfast venue. They only served drinks at the time, and they would not allow us to take food (crisps) from the night bar to this venue. (I would have actually expected them to order the over priced chips for me from the night bar and to bring it to us.) Remember, we paid almost €1500 per day for such guest service.
Our shuttle is picking up up tomorrow morning at 06:00, before breakfast time. The Disneyland Hotel, a 5 star establishment, is unable to provide us with an early breakfast. We have to order from "night service", obviously paying extra again for the inconvenience to the hotel.

I will not be back.

PS: Three of the "fastpass" rides in the park were unavailable:
- Buzz Lightyear had technical problems when we were there
- Flying Carpets over Agrabah was completely closed off for the 5 days of our visit
- Ratatouille only opened on the last day of our visit.
(The reason why we booked the totally over priced suite room in the first place was to obtain fast passes.)

Room Tip: Try to get a park view, although it did not help when we tried. And we booked several months in adva...
