Locations and Charm as per , are very rare on the island of malta a Palazzo at your foot steps , but above all the warm welcome , the sense of chic is above all standards ,and I have to say it is a joy to stay at the Corinthia Palace . Just the shapes of the trees anticipate a very unique touch and the lobby and its distinct smell reminds you of where you are ! Let alone the welcome at the reception .
We look forwards to each trip , and did you know that it is the only Pet friendly hotel on the Island your little four paws are welcome and find doggie bars in the rooms , that is a real touch of welcome and class !!!!!!
This is our true home away from home and we can only recommend it and thank the team for all the small attentions and genuine smiles ! We will be back shortly and thank you all for always making it so special !

I was at this Hotel for just one day and night on a business trip.
High standards throughout .The staff were charming and helpful.
I ate a top class dinner in the restaurant but had to leave before breakfast so no comment.
The bed was very comfortable with crisp linen.
I hope to return.

A hotel of character not far from Valetta. The rooms are a good size with comfortable large beds and good quality linen. Wifi is in all rooms. The usual TV, mini bar and tea/coffee facilities are also standard, the water is hot and most rooms have a balcony.
The staff are all very helpful and friendly.
There is a free shuttle into Valetta and St Julian's.
The indoor spa and heated pool are an advantage during winter months.
Breakfast was very good with a good choice of both hot and cold food.
All in all a great place to relax. I would recommend Rickshaw restaurant in the hotel which serves some excellent Asian cuisine.
Bus stops are within a five minute stroll and the service is island wide and a good flexible way to see the sights on Malta. Day or weekly tickets can be bought on the bus or from any bus station.
San Anton gardens are opposite this hotel and well worth a stroll around.

Room Tip: Not a high rise hotel and generally rooms are well soundproofed. We were in 220 and benefited from s...

The hotel is an amazing construction. It makes you feel as you were in the palace. The suite we stayed in was very spacious. Everyday we received complimentary fruits and cakes. It was a nice add on. The President's Kitchen in the San Anton Garden is a fabulous playground for the little kids. The only thing I could comment about was the quality of food but it was not much better all over the island so it might be the matter of taste.

Booked on a secret escapes deal for a 5 day stay. Was mindful of the potentially less than ideal location (I do like to be beside the seaside) but was swayed by the very complementary reviews here. Hired a car at the airport and eventually found our way. Initial impressions were mixed. Staff very pleasant and attentive and common areas were plush but we didn't like the room allocated which was small, first floor and a had a lovely view of the air-conditioning. The hotel were happy to switch us (explained we were belatedly celebrating my wife's birthday and we had hoped for a more enchanting balcony vista!) and our eventual room was much nicer.

Any doubts we had were quickly dispelled when we chose to attend a "special dinner" that was taking place on our first evening during which the Spanish winemakers Farina would showcase their wines. Dinner and occasion were all absolutely superb with canapés on the balcony followed by jazz band with singers, generous samples of superb wine and first class food. If your stay coincides with a special dinner - go for it!

Staff continued to impress throughout our stay be it at the breakfast buffet (which was great esp. the made to order omelettes) , the spa ( where treatments were excellent) or the bar which has a two hour happy hour and very nice cocktails. A lick of paint around the indoor pool wouldn't go amiss mind.

The location is a bit of an issue in that there is very little to do within walking distance of the hotel aside from visit the San Anton gardens. Bars and restaurants are at a premium. However, the free courtesy bus into St Julian's ( to the sister hotel) does overcome this and we used it whenever we wanted a change from the hotel restaurants. That said being in the centre of the island and NOT amongst the majority of the coastal tourist hotels made it much easier to visit places like Medina and Gozo.

Not a cheap hotel but it is quality.

We loved Malta and found this hotel the ideal base from which to explore or to just relax. We would love to return.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for choosing Corinthia Palace Hotel for your belated celebration and for taking the time to post your experience on Trip Advisor.

We are pleased to note that you found our facilities and services satisfactory and that you particularly enjoyed our Wine paring event we held at Villa Corinthia in collaboration with Farina.

As regards the Spa, we have in fact closed it down for a week to carry out some necessary maintenance works and we will be reopening it tomorrow.

We look forward to welcoming you back at our Hotel in the very near future and once you have dates in hand please send me an email on david.woodward@corinthia.com.

With best regards

We recently stayed for 4 days in one of the junior suite rooms. The room was comfortable and well laid out, the service was excellent and the nearby San Anton gardens were a delight to visit. When you go make sure you take the advice of Andrew the sommelier, his choice for us the night we dined in the very good restaurant was delicious. We also had excellent room service from Jennifer.

I have never written a review on TA before, but I am inspired to do so by this beautiful hotel. If only all hotels aspired to the standard set by the Corinthia Palace.
We have just returned from a week there. We arrived at midnight but were warmly welcomed by reception & surprised & touched to find platters of cheese/cold meats & fruit in our room as we had missed dinner.
The hotel is based around a lovely old villa & the dining room is absolutely divine! It is the old villa courtyard [now with roof] & is elegant & spacious with a dramatic flaming torch set on the balustraded terrace outside. An excellent pianist plays while you eat, & also plays while you enjoy the superb [yet reasonably priced] pre dinner cocktails.
The food was beautifully presented & superb.[Try the Gazpacho-best I have ever eaten-& the melt in the mouth beef.]
Wine selection is also good, including several very good Maltese wines at reasonable prices.
However, the real strength of this hotel is its staff. I have travelled widely & I can honestly say I have never experienced the genuine friendliness & courtesy across the entire staff which we experienced every day at the Corinthia Palace.Nothing was too much trouble. This hotel has won "Best Hotel in Malta" for 4 years running, which says it all.
Other reviewers have mentioned the courtesy bus service to Valletta & to the sister hotel on the coast, which we also enjoyed [good sea swimming as well as several more pools].
It is also easy to catch local buses from the hotel to Mdina, the ancient walled citadel which is quite close.
The hotel will also organise car hire & visits to vineyards & other sites.
Several guests we spoke to in the hotel had been there many times. We shall certainly also return. Elizabeth Chilcott
