The Location, cleanness of the Resort, beach are of course must for this resort. You feel to be far from everything, connected to the life through a stripe among thai restaurant, and massages centres.
Ideal for people who want to rest; of course you can rent a motorbyke for 200 THB (5€) and visit the island by yourself.
However, I think that the Mimosa Spa Resort will be fully explained by the senses that the word "concrete" has in English. Mimosa is concrete, in the sense that is authentic, minimal, real, coherent with the landscape it is in; but also it is concrete, in the sense made of concrete. The bathroom is concrete (we have the superior room with Hydro) and the water, day by day, makes the pavement and the walls "consumed".
The bed is on concrete.. and so on. However this is fine, the room is minimal and they say they want to preserve the environment and create something that is inside the environment as well. May be villas are different! Staff is strange: smiling at the beginning, only polite and cordially detached during the stay, if they realize you are not going to use their restaurant to have dinner, neither their facilities such as motorbike renting and spa using. This is my sensation, so I report it. However, the friendship and the help they give to you never lack.More
