“This was our 3rd visit to Koh Samui and our 3rd stay at Paradise Beach Resort.”
Reviewed 11 July 2014 via mobile

We went with family and friends, from the moment we arrived at the resort it was like returning home after a trip away. A lot of faces we knew from our last 2 times there. A special thanks has to go to Kun Mai in the restaurant, he greeted us every morning with a hello and a big smile. All the staff both in the restaurant and the poolside bar were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The cocktails are definitely worth a try. We had lunch at the resort on quite a few days, the food is very good.
my daughter and two friends did the Cooking Class with Executive Chef Salok. A wonderful experience and we managed to feed 8 other people with all of the food. A must do at the Resort. A big Thankyou Joven, he was there when ever you turned around with a big smile and nothing was too much trouble. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful.
We had a small issue with the air con in one room, that was soon fixed and our time in Paradise continued. The shuttle bus times had changed, but the staff were very quick to organise other transport for us.
If you are there on a Friday night it is a must to visit Fisherman's Village. The shuttle bus will drop you off and pick you up. Great atmosphere.
Also go to the lookout ( between Chaweng and Lamai) before lunch and have coconut ice cream with sticky rice. All home made by the lady selling it. Definitely worth the taxi ride to get there.
A fifty metre walk along the beach will get to our Favourite Restaurant in Mae Nam "Jin's". Jin's is right on the beach. The food is fantastic and very cheap. Most definately a must visit.
The pools and the luscious green gardens are a great place to relax. I cannot recommend this Resort highly enough. It was a quiet area, very relaxing but only a 10 minute drive to hit the night life.
Thankyou everyone at Paradise Beach Resort for making our holiday one to remember.

We stayed at the resort at the end of June 2014 for 8 days. This was our first time in Koh Samui and this resort certainly showed Samui at its best. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and genuinely wanted you to enjoy your stay. The resort has amazing surroundings with a tropical feel, two lovely pools and a beautiful view over the sea from the restaurant and pool bar. It is located on Mea Nam beach and is great for a quieter holiday. You can still go to the shops and night markets with the hotel shuttle bus. I would highly recommend the spa (great scrubs, massages and nail treatments all with natural products) and the onsite tailor (Ash Tailor - my daughter got some great quality shirts and shorts in natural fabrics). Its a great holiday for all ages. best regards Shona and Laila

Room Tip: The whole resort was quiet so any room around the pools would be great as probably lighter than thos...

I went to the PBR on 29th July with just my wife
It was the best holiday I have ever had. The food, Beach, Room, Staff who are so friendly and helpful, especially Jovan who saw to our every whim, the managers who all tried to give friendly advise or information. Free internet was helpful and cafes and restaurants run by the friendly locals down the road were very cheap and flavorsome. Lots to do if you want or just hang out at the hotel. I had a really good suit made at the tailors and had some jeans repaired for peanuts. I would go again but the hotel was almost empty because of the coup scare in Bangkok recently, and I probably would not get the one to one service.

Room Tip: Take some mosquito stuff

We went for the first time to Thailand. We didn´t know what we had to expect with and we were very surprised that all People were SO friendly. They always wanted to help you and make your wishes come true - with succuss! The Location of the Hotel in Mea Nam is very good for People who wants to have more quiet. Maybe there were not so many tourists because of the reports. I only can say: we didn´t see a single soldier. And we weren´t alarmed a single second. The rooms were clean and there was enough space for two People to live in. In Paradise Beach Resort there are some watersports possibilities. I had a very nice Windsurfing-teacher who made a real good Job (although I´m not so Young and Slim anymore). In Paradise you can meet tourists from all over the world. We (from Austria) got to be friends with very nice People from Germany and Australia. Meetingpoint usually was the Bar at "Happy-hour". The Barkeepers also were very nice and we had much fun with them. We hope that we will be soon guests in this friendly Hotel again.

Everything from the warm welcome by Katja to the personalised farewell from JJ ( the GM) was first class. The grounds are not only spacious and give a sense that you are one of only few guests at the Resort, they are immaculately maintained by ground staff. The bar and restaurant provided us exceptional service, where nothing was too much trouble... In fact, it seemed even before we thought we needed something it was already delivered........ Special thanks must go to Joe - what a great ambassador for Paradise Beach. Only one caution to prospective guests - the beachside bar was fabulous.... Please be careful the bar staff are too awesome, so we found it difficult to leave. The Singha was always cold and cocktails too delicious. Thanks to JJ and your team...

The paradise beach resort in Maenam beach was realy nice, Great atmosphere, very kindly, clean rooms/ suits/ bungalows and park-like and well-kept grounds with two pools. On-site, inclusive shuttle transfer several times a day even after Chaweng. Information / booking to destinations and car rental reservations is obtained directly at the Resort.
I say this Hotel is recommendable and we would stay there, again. Thank you
