After two weeks in thailand it's hard to not crave certain luxuries available back in Aus... namely a good steak ;)
I generally avoid red meat over here but on this occasion we thought we would be safe with a restaurant designated as a Grill.
So mixed results, my boyfriend and I both ordered a rib-eye steak medium-rare... and we got one rare and one medium-well.
In choosing the cut of meat, you could also choose a sauce and a variation of potatoes (baked whole potato with herb butter, "wedges", french fries etc).
The steaks had great flavour, both the sauces were delicious (we had one mushroom sauce and one peppercorn). We also had the baked potato with herb butter (yum!) And the wedges. .. please note these look more like a hash brown!
All in all a great restaurant, staff were polite and owner was friendly. We paid about 1500 thb for the two meals, one beer, one glass of red wine, a cocktail and a bourbon.
