“Good quality resort for such money ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 December 2013 via mobile

We are staying in this resort for almost 3 weeks. It is a great family friendly hotel. Big room with lots of toys for kids, gym for parents. While parents are exercising, kids are playing. Our hotel room is big and cleaned very well twice a day. We have access to a swimming pool. The main infinity pool is big and beautiful with kids area too. Breakfast tasty and good variety.
I can find only two downsides in this hotel needed to be addressed by the management:
- Internet WIFI should be free in such level resort. Here it costs 100B per hour
- Restaurant staff should speak better English, sometimes they don't understand what clients say
Still, it is great value for money on the nice quiet Mae Nam beach.

Wow not the experience we expected after reading good reviews
Really disappointed in this place it was not worth staying here, a budget hotel in koh tao offered us better service!
Staff do not speak good English so everytime we tried to order something it was a disaster
Room service took 4 phone calls and then the wrong dish was delivered followed by another phone call to advise the dish we wanted wasn't available
Request for milk with our tea, NONE provided in room took 3 phone calls to obtain milk! Something I would have expected in the room considering it is a resort! They delivered more coffee instead of milk!!! Another phone call to describe milk, finally it arrived
Movies didn't work
Crappy food apart from the deserts were amazing
Loud air con
Mosquitos in room
Loud banging from people walking around above us
TV is set to a low volume so have to turn air con off to hear it
No free wifi, paid 400 bht for 24hours & have to continue logging in as
The staff were really friendly and lovely but they didn't understand anything we requested which is a shame
I don't like leaving bad comments but we are on our honeymoon and this is the worst service we have experienced t drops out
We moved to the pool area whilst waiting for our cab only to find everyone had to move at 1pm!!!!! so they could set up for lunch: very disappointing
Do not waste your time or money here

My sister and i decided on a holiday together, just us girls, somewhere we could chill out and have total relaxation. We got what we came for at this resort. From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful, whatever we needed was never a problem. The room we stayed in was spacious and nicely maintained, cleaned and re-stocked daily. The room also had a plunge pool which was lovely. The property is beautifully maintained,(grounds and gardens) and the walk down to breakfast daily was very pleasant. The restaurant is also very nice, perched right on a private beach with attentive staff. The pool is one of the best i have seen! It caters for everyone, with a couple of smaller pools for the kids and also a spa. The swim up bar is great too! You can also choose to laze in the sun down on the private beach. The reception staff were informative about activities on the island and helped us out with maps and also some local knowledge. The GM was an approachable and lovely man too and was asking about our stay. Ping Pong and Nisa are a great asset to this resort, even up to the
day we were leaving they made sure we looked after! I would not hesitate to come back here, it was awesome. Thankyou to all for a lovely holiday. Deborah. P.S The shirt did fit very nicely!

Room Tip: Room with a plunge pool!

The grounds of the hotel are very well maintained as are all the public areas, the villa with private pool that we stayed in was in need of an update and the house keeping could be better, the room was not the cleanest i have stayed in. Breakfast was nice and the evening meals in the restaurant were first class every night, i would say the evening meal were thehighlight of our stay. The pool is great and the beach although small was also clean and tidy. Renovations are on going so the reception area was closed. We had problems with the airconditioning in the villa but this was sorted politly to my satisfaction. Overall a nice resort.

My friend and I were looking for a resort where we could relax on the beach for our 5 day stay, and we found it at this resort. The staff were pleasant, right from the beginning. There were renovations going on while we were here and the staff were very apologetic about this, but we didn't have any issues with service at all.

Our room was large and had the requisite two beds for friends travelling. The balcony was a nice place to relax and have a drink in the evenings, and was out of the rain.

Breakfast allowed for each of us to have what we wanted, and we were never hurried out. The pool bar staff was pleasant and attentive to our food and drink needs while we relaxed in the sunshine (and scrambled out of the rain!!).

We had some on again, off again, rain showers while we visited and the manager offered discounts on the spa services during this time. We never took him up on this as it got sunny again (and then rained again) but the weather kept things interesting.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is interested in a get-away from a busy area (Chaweng) and wants to relax, with great resort staff. If I come back to Samui I will book here.

Room Tip: We were in the "2200" block of rooms and found this to be a nice area of the resort. I mig...

Overall very nice hotel with white sand beach, "Infinity" pool and spacious rooms. The only thing you need to really fix is your food. Tom yam was disgusting. Salads they do with some very strange sauces. The only meal which I found to be ok was pasta Marinara. But then again, I had to explain 2 times on phone to room service girls NOT to put shrimps-kung-shrimps, ............and they put it!!))) How bad is that? Guys, seriously, do something with your chefs, your kitchen is your only but huge disadvantage. To all guests I would advise to eat outside. Cause of food only I put Average for the hotel.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel at the end of August. It was booked for us at short notice by Trailfinders. We were very happy with its location and its proximity and ease to reach other attractions on the island. We will have enduring memories of the excellent food and the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff, from the room staff, reception, restaurant and pool staff. My husband loved using the gym followed by a Thai massage on the beach, lasting an hour.

But best of all, we will never forget the entertainment provided by the hotel. We had a duo, Julie Ann Carnaje and a young man who was her guitar playing partner, they really made our holiday! Julie Ann had an amazing voice and could tackle every artist from the 60s to chart toppers 2013 and everything inbetween. We had a terrific holiday but the icing on the cake had to be the lovely Julie Ann, her singing and her lovely smile
