My first experience of self-catering & delighted to find that the cabin was so well-equipped. I spent 2 lovely weeks here & it felt very much like home. In fact at the end of my stay I didn't want to leave!

We have just stayed for one night, travelling back from further afield but would have been happy to stay all week. The lodge is very well equipped, very clean and nicely done out and comfortable. Lovely to see the horses just outside in the paddock too.
Our children were straight onto the trampoline and wanted to stay longer. Oh and the foal is still very cute. Definitely recommend and the nearby Fox & Hounds pub had great food and very child friendly, busy though so would recommend booking on a weekend.
Myself and two friends stayed here for the weekend. The cabin is simply gorgeous- clean, modern and superbly equipped. Everything you need for a break was provided and the location of the cabin is just beautiful. It has a large outdoor decking area from which you can sit and look at the beautiful scenery and horses in the paddocks (including the cutest foal). It also has a trampoline- great for children (or big kids like us). We also took the opportunity to go horseriding on the farm , again this was a delight and all the staff were so lovely. The owner Debbie was really helpful and gave us lots of useful information about local places to eat etc and was excellent at keeping in contact and answering questions prior to our stay. I will most definitely be returning and I would recommend this place to anyone!
We booked this cabin for a one night stay during May.
All correspondence with the owner was informative and prompt. Debbie answered all our questions.
On arrival the cabin was clean and very well presented. It is situated in its own paddock with beautiful views over the farm and fields. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
We will definitely be returning :-)
We loved our stay here the lodge was lovely with everything you need. Washig liquid, tea towels, clothes, cleaning materials and all pots, pans and utensils. Second bedroom with 2 beds is really only suitable for children or 2 very small adults. The views were wonderful as was the weather. We struggled to find lodge as signs for lodge and apartment took us in the wrong direction, may be better if sign for Loxely Lodge lower down the dirt track pointling up, also we could not find a bin to place our rubbish. Other than these small issues it was a wonderful stay we would recommend to friends and would return.
I was very pleased with the cleanliness of everything and quality of the furniture/bedding within the cabin. Great shower. Variety of cleaning products was available..
Everything that is needed for self catering was provided. As this is a cabin the walls are thin but this did not cause us any problems. would definitely recommend
I can't say enough good things about our stay here. We booked both cabins and the apartment (all of which are near each other) at a really good price and all of which were cosy, clean and furnished with everything you'll need.
It was so lovely to wake up and step out onto the decking and realise how good it is to be away from busy city life.
Debbie was really friendly and welcoming. And I'd strongly recommend booking yourself in for a horse riding lesson too.
