We spent 8 nights at Sea Glass Place in the Star Fruit apartment- a great location and very easy drive from the airport- we easily walked to town and to Grande Anse a number of times during our stay. It was perfect- the views and property are as lovely as promised and Elvis and Jane are just fantastic. We are usually the type of people who are out and about while on vacation, and though there is so much to do and see in Grenada, we could not help but take a few days to just enjoy the beautiful surroundings right at Sea Glass Place. We took the kayaks out and lounged on our private veranda and on the gorgeous little stretch of beach below the property- I can't imagine staying anywhere better! Elvis and Jane thought of everything - the apartment was clean and well outfitted as described, but also had a great selection of books for beach reading, and even a bit of aloe and lotion on hand. They were quick to respond to my initial inquiries and keen to assist us in finding our way around. If I could change anything, it would be to have stayed on a bit longer.
the location is amazing- the beach with its own shade tree a few steps away. watch the sunsets from your front porch. lovely owners who couldn't be more helpful and easy going. A lot of local charm. The apartment ideal to put your feet up and feel at home in paradise. A great alternative to the resort feel.
My husband and I spent a month (January/February) at Sea Glass Place in the Starfruit apartment. I then spent an extra month (February/March) in the same apartment with sisters, friend and daughter coming at different times. The apartment had all the amenities we could ask for including a BBQ, we did enjoy quite a few meals in! The outdoor living space is supreme, very large private deck with a table and four chairs, a lounge, 2 extra chairs and much needed clothesline’s! Beautiful view of the lower deck where I watched the amazing sunsets, and spent time at the private beach.
Close to St. George’s (walking distance) and Grand Anse, if your’re not walkers, bus is right outside the door!
I cannot say enough about our hosts Jane & Elvis! You two were the perfect hosts, always available for help with finding places to eat local or other foods, recommending places to see and adventures around the island, on sea and land. Giving each of your guests the attention or privacy needed. Really enjoyed our evenings on the shared deck and getting to know a variety of people. Thank you for everything, especially putting up with all those women, see you next year!

Jane and Elvis are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We stayed with them for three nights in January and we loved it.
The apartment was air conditioned and in a good, safe location. A very short walk (5-7 mins maybe) from Grand Anse beach area, and a short cab ride to Saint Georges.
The property is right on the water so you pretty much have a "private" piece of the beach right at your doorstep. We also enjoyed using the kayaks that were provided.
We really hope to return in the future.
From the moment we booked until we left for the airport, Jane and Elvis were excellent hosts — answering all of our queries, and being welcoming and hospitable.
We stayed in the Star Fruit Apartment, and were very happy with the great view from the terrace and the very comfortable room. The whole property is a little piece of paradise, with its multiple terraces, sea views and fantastic almost private beach for swimming. With its close proximity to everything, I couldn’t.recommend it more. The perfect place to enjoy this beautiful island!
The Hosts, Elvis and Jane are so helpful and accommodating, yet not invasive. Steps to private beach, , several areas to sit and enjoy the views. The apartment was clean, well stocked, plenty of hot water and great internet. Kayaks for guest's use. Incredible value for so many amenities.
If you want a lovely apartment right on the waterfront, without the crowds of a big resort hotel, this is it! There is a awesome beach right out front, with a beautiful big shade tree that you can sit under without getting sunburned. Also, the water this far south is extra dense/salty, so you can float easily as you laze around in the water. As well, the bottom is very sandy, and easy to walk on.
We had 2 queen beds in our apartment, which was complete with stove, fridge, microwave, etc. so we cooked all our own meals. We also had a beautiful balcony to sit on and watch the boats bobbing away at their moorings. And, there were 2 or 3 other seating areas, including a large one that several of us enjoyed one night.
The two sea kayaks were much appreciated, and made for a fun trip over to Grand Anse beach just around the corner. And for ground transportation, there is no need to rent a car, as there are buses constantly running on the main roads, for about $1 U.S. per ride. The bus will pick you up right in front of the property. (They also have a driver who can pick you up at the airport, and with whom you can also book an island tour with.)
What also made our stay exceptional was the owners Elvis and Jane. They live on-site and are available to assist in any way they can. They are also super friendly and knowledgeable, and really made us feel at home! (Thanks again, guys, for setting up that very important meeting for us!)
We will look forward to staying with Elvis and Jane on our next trip, and we highly recommend Sea Glass Place, without reservation!
