We stayed at in the smallest studio at Blue Horizons during March/April 2010. Weather was consistently 30 degrees with a warm wind. Hotel is self catering but with a restaraunt and bar food (we didn't try either.) The room was fine for us - open plan with large king bed and bathroom with shower. The only downside was a tired looking kitchen area - all the utensils / facilities were there, but it did need a re-fit. The hotel has an excellent location with a well stocked supermarket and several good restaraunts within easy walking reach - recomend the sushi bar and pizza place in particular. St Georges is only a short drive, say 15 minutes and the Grand Anse beach is a ten minute walk. Back at the hotel, the rooms are thorougly cleaned daily and bed linen changed weekly. The pool area is clean and the drinks poolside 'fairly' resonable in price.
Grenada now puts tax on imported goods so beware of 15% on most imported goods. Hotel does attract families with young kids but there is normally privacy/ a quiet time to be found at the pool each day at sometime. It's a nice hotel with welcoming staff and I'd recomend it.More
