We stayed here last Dec 12 for 2 weeks. Beautiful location, top quality food all day, esp. homemade biscuits at 4pm, very nice...Desserts are sadly...fantastic, we put weight on, bugger...
Room was spacious and Caribbean style, very colourful!
Staff are very friendly, always helpful, morning egg chefs are a blast.
If you want parties, dancing etc this isn't the place for you, we are in our early 40s and we bought the average age down by 20 years!
Steel band once a week and owners reception, lovely canapes presented.
Anse beach is beautiful, St James close by.
Will go again!

Room Tip: Chose 2nd floor rooms, better views

This resort is great for a nice chilled week in the Caribbean sun. The staff I'm the hotel are fantastic, especially Sheldon on reception & many of the waiting staff including Rhonda. The rooms are not particularly modern but are in very very good condition and have everything you could ask for. Maid service daily and also an evening turn down service. The food in the hotel was brilliant. Plenty options to choose from and varied enough not to become boring. I like that it wasn't buffet style other than breakfast like most all inclusive hotels.
Situated on Grand Anse beach with direct access and also in perfect location for shops, supermarket etc. St George's only 10 mins away.
I would definitely recommend doing an island tour or hiring a car and doing it yourself. The island is so beautiful that it's worth spending a day or two exploring. And my favourite parts.....the amazing sunsets!!!
A fantastic holiday at a fantastic hotel topped off by great staff!

The place is great ....perfect location on gran anse.... close to the mall and grocery store.... i was a bit disappointed when i first arrived they put my husband and i in a room with 2 double beds even though we requested a king bed ..... but none the less we made it work .... the food was great ...
The resturant staff was quite friendly and helpful ....... i was also a bit disappointed because we paid for an all inclusive package but some items on the menu we had to pay an adittional fee ..... but all in all it was a great vacation

Coyaba Hotel is a 12 minute taxi ride from Granada airport. It is a relatively small hotel of 80 rooms and is family owned ( you will meet one of the owners at a cocktail reception during the week). Set right on Grand Anse beach there are views out to sea and across the bay to the capital, St George's.
Rooms are well appointed with tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, two large beds and patio area. The bathrooms are on the small side but more than adequate. TV has all the usual channels including BBC World. Sockets are UK style three pin square.
Currency is the East Caribbean Dollar. US Dollars are readily accepted but the locals will ask for EC dollars first.
Eco Divers are on site and have a great set up. See separate review under Eco Divers Granada. You can also try out the Hobie cats and Kayacs for an hour a day included in the all inclusive package.
There are two restaurants, one of which is classed as their Fine Dining Restaurant. The dress code is long trousers, shoes and shirt with a collar. The other restaurant is much less formal.
There are a couple of things I would suggest that would make this resort even better.
Firstly, the kitchen that serves the two restaurants is in the centre of the Hotel grounds. The extractor fans on the roof produce a constant loud background noise. It's a great shame because otherwise the resort could be described as tranquil.
Secondly, there is a large ice making machine located in the corridor outside the ground floor rooms. This would be great if someone didn't empty it with a shovel in the early hours of the morning.

I'm afraid it has to be said that one or two of the front of house staff were not overtly friendly and welcoming. We had a very lack lustre welcome when we arrived late in the evening after 24hours of travelling. At the bar adjacent to the lunchtime restaurant we asked if we could order food as we had done the previous day. The response was "No. Restaurant." Fortunately the vast majority of Grenadians inside and outside the hotel are exceptionally friendly people.
The capital, St George's, is only 10 minutes away by taxi or No.1 bus and well worth a visit. It's safe, vibrant, colourful and welcoming.
This is a great hotel in a fabulous location. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

We stayed at Coyaba Beach Resort for 03 nights from September 25th to Sepetember 28th.
The hotel is handful directly on the beautiful Grand Anse Beach ( The best beach in Grenade ).
Pros - Great location, great room, good shower, comfortable bed, wonderful view from balcony and very helpful and friendly staff.
Cons - There are no activities for guests and they could place some beach chairs for guests just outside the property we had to place them byourselves ( not a great deal though ).
We strongly recommend this Resort !
