“Just awesome..paradise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 June 2014

We celebrated our first anniversary on this hotel and it was just splendid, superb. The hotel is on the southern part of the island, cape panwa, a peaceful location unlike Patong/Kata beach. If you want to enjoy the beauty of Phuket in a peaceful location and want to avoid tourist crowd, then this is the best place to stay. While staying at the hotel, you wouldn't feel like going anywhere else. The hotel private beach is simple awesome. At the time of low tide, the tides go away about half a km and you can really walk long in the beach. This is really a super experience. The sea water is clean and refreshing, with mainly sand and plenty of loungers, plus free use of catamaran, sea kayaks, etc.

The hotel is situated in huge property with 4 pools, the 4 pools are all clean and have plenty of loungers to relax on...Pool bar happy hour is good for a late afternoon swim up drink :). Can highly recommend one of the day beds if you manage to snare one.

The room is huge and with a attached huge balcony. You can get a view of the sea and swimming pools by sitting here. The bathroom is also up to 5 star mark with huge bathtub , walk in shower, etc.

Breakfast was good, with good selection, but very expensive for what you get. We had our Anniversary dinner on Sea side restaurant 'Aqua' and it was good. There are a few shops and restaurants nearby, a 24x7 just opposite to the resort and the Phuket aquarium in Cape Panwa is also walking distance from the resort. The resort does run a shuttle to Phuket town in the afternoons and to Patong at night.

We stayed for 3 nights 4 days and overall had a fantastic holiday and loved staying here. We would definitely stay here again and hope to come back soon!

Room Tip: Choose a sea view room on 1st floor...

We stayed there in late May 2014 and absolutely loved it.

The hotel was very quiet, largely because some people have been put off by the political situation in Thailand, but our stay was very enjoyable.

The hotel staff were really accommodating and the Azule restaurant was our favourite for Thai cuisine, and they have another restaurant if you fancy international / European cuisine.

We just chilled out by the two pools and loved the pool side beds.

We also had a great time doing a Thai cooking class that we paid for as an extra.
They thought us how to cook 5 dishes that were really tasty, but the whole session was good fun.

There are loads of other things to do in the hotel, e.g. gym and spa, but we really enjoyed chilling out.

Our room was amazing (junior king suite) and had a great view of the beach, and felt secluded from other rooms, so we really loved staying there.

The continental and cooked breakfast was pretty good. Not loads to choose from, but enough to keep you interested for a week.

Overall it was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing hotels I have stayed in.

We stayed here as a part of our honeymoon trip. The rate we booked online from a third party website was excellent so we weren't expecting too much. We did inform the hotel that we were celebrating our honeymoon--we got some flower petals and a flat sheet folded in the shape of a fan on the bed. I feel like honeymoons are a time when most hotels will at least offer a one-class upgrade, but don't expect that at this hotel. But that's okay--what's with the sense of entitlement, right? Overall the room was fine, quite dark but the AC worked well and bed was comfortable. We were in the building very close to the upper pool (which was much more quiet than the lower pool). We were able to get the large covered daybeds each day by the upper pool, which was great for quiet relaxation and reading. The lower pool had more activity, with the daybeds claimed early, and the regular lounge chairs crammed so close together.

There are several local Thai restaurants nearby that are great. We tried most of them, but the best one by far was Sawasdee, which is further down the road past the military base by the water. Felt much more authentic than western hotel food--prices were obviously better too. Family Mart is also across the street for cheap snacks.

The staff here were generally good. The front desk/check-in staff were rather cold and ho-hum and didn't especially make us feel welcomed, both during check in and subsequent visits for questions. We did have airport pickup as well as one of the hotel cars take us to our next hotel in Phuket--both of those guys were excellent and the prices were very reasonable. We also took part in one of the towel art classes, where a few ladies (from housekeeping I think) taught us how to make elephants etc. out of towels. Although they didn't really speak English too well, they were very enthusiastic and friendly. All in all, a good stay, but I wouldn't say the hotel made for an especially special experience.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel late May in one of the Villas. They are an amazing design, with own infinity pool and spa. The view over Panwa bay is picturesque, with choice of dining areas and variety of food. Ideal for those wanting a quiet and relaxing holiday.

Just cannot fault this hotel. The views are amazing. The staff are always so helpful. The taxi service offered was very reasonably priced. Only 15 min ride to major shopping centre. The in-hotel restaurants are well priced and offer excellent quality meals. Room service menu was outstanding. Would come back here in a heart beat.

When we arrived at the airport we instantly booked a taxi just after we past customs. The taxi itself was very good and only cost 900 baths for the two of us. When we entered the hotel we were pleasantly surprised by the entrance and the greeting we received, well it was just bliss. We stayed in the junior suite with sea view. The view at night does not do justice to the hotels true beauty. However wait until morning we were able to see the gorgeous sun rise over the horizon. Before we went to sleep we ordered some room service. The portions were massive but the foods itself was marvellous.

In the morning after walking up to the view we quickly moved ourselves to breakfast at Aqua restaurant. All the staff were very welcoming and attentive to your needs. The was an large variety of foods ranging from pastries, to cereals, to an omelette station, to traditional Thai and the usual continental foods. Afterward we walked around the hotel to find many tropical trees including coconut, palm and even mini banana tree.

We went at the end of May and the weather unlike all forecast said was amazing, it was predominantly 32C. Even whilst we were here we checked the weather report constantly to find it predicting rain and thunderstorms when it was clearly sunny. The beach was one of the nicest we have ever seen, the water was not too hot or cold. Past midday there was an extremely low tide, past the hotels premises, that give you a chance to walk around and marvel at the sea creatures: a large variety of crabs, many starfish and school of fish.

Between 4-5 o'clock the sun starts to dim and we used this time to go to the spa. The spa had a wonderful atmosphere. After booking a treatment you would be seated and given ice cold lemongrass and pandon tea whilst you fill out a form about your preferences. The treatments are marvellous; we found ourselves falling asleep due to the relaxation. After the treatments you would be seated and given hot lemongrass and pandon tea. This tea has many health benefits including helping the digestive track. Later on in the evening we went to a family mart across the street. Thailand does have many road accident but you feel so safe whilst crossing the road because you are escorted by the hotels security. We recommend to go to the family mart for water or any other drinks as they are 10 times cheaper than the hotels.

For diner we are at both Aqua and Azur restaurants during our stay. In Aqua you are given a choice of buffet or a la carte. To be frank I would only recommend the buffet if you are willing to eat quite a lot; as the prices of it were higher. There were many similarities between the a la carte and the room service menu. But the a la carte does have a few more options. Azur restaurant is mainly seafood orientated but nonetheless tasty. I recommend to at least try one of the desserts. We ordered deep fried banana stuffed with chocolate with vanilla sauce and coconut ice cream to share. However we were contemplating to get the poached banana in coconut soup with black sticky rice. The only downfall to this restaurant was the price unlike the other two this was extremely pricey for the meals.
At the edge pool bar if you going to buy something, there is a happy hour for 50% off all. My daughter is only fifteen so I took liberty of ordering her a mock-tail (non alcoholic) piña colada and now she is addicted. Warning wines are extremely expensive to say the least so we recommend you to avoid it.

We also recommend for you to visit the tiger kingdom, it is absolutely a one in a lifetime experience. In basic terms it is a way to cuddle up to tigers from baby to fully grown adults. It is great for all the family. None of the tigers are drugged, tranquillised or mistreated. The biggest of the cats were so gentle. This encounter allows all to come close and personal to the big cats and stroke them. We recommend to go early in the morning to avoid any lines. Book a taxi from the hotel to the Tiger Kingdom and return for two would be 1400 bahts including waiting time, not only that but afterwards you can be taken to the shopping mall without extra charge.

Overall we would recommend you strongly to stay at this hotel, it's family orientated and helps you unwind from even for most hectic of lifestyles.

Staff was very courteous and had a positive attitude. We had to wait a half hour for our room to be dusted. I appreciate the reason why, but wonder why
at least one room would be dusted and ready to use. Most of all appreciated the effort that everyone put in to making our stay enjoyable. Walk to room
was a bit long.
