Having emailed the hotel to explain that this was a special treat for our 30th wedding anniversary and my wife's 49th birthday.
On our arrival we were showed a deluxe room including hot tub outside but with No view at all now considering this was low season and how empty this hotel was we asked if it was possible to change ? Yep that's no problem as probably their was only about 40 people in whole hotel the cost to change was £10 per night.we changed rooms but felt a bit let down by having to pay extra ( yes this was our choice) but on some reviews people say that they have room upgrades for free now I don't want to be mean here but does it get any better than your 30th wedding anniversary ? And Nothing FREE ! .( oh sorry a bowl of fruit)
The hotel is very clean the staff are very friendly and will try their best to sort your requests out the pool area is kept clean and tidy at all times.

FOOD here goes breakfast in a morning was your normal mix from omelet to Danish to Chinese to Thai wonderfull mix a great choice every day.
The head Chef Lee what a lovely chap who is always trying to interact with customers showing the different ingredients used in each course.
With me been a vegetarian I never at any point went hungry as the choices were out of this world in taste texture and filling at a great price too at no point in our 2 weeks did we see the need or desire to eat outside of this 5*hotel.
Our lunch around the pool area was at times slightly disappointing the only reason for this was Not the food it was the fact sometimes when you order two meals 1 would come then later the other would follow sometimes when you had finished your partner would just have to wait.
Azure Resturant this was lovely some nights we were the only couple In here so it was even better we had staff all to ourselves we had the most amazing Thai buffet one night and it was 5* the food just kept getting better and better.
Overall this hotel has provided me with the best food I've ever eaten in 52 years.

Room housekeeping our maid NOK did a great job and she was rewarded accordingly at the end of our stay.

So in review we had the most amazing time and would happily go back tomorrow.

For review by the hotel one or two bits
1) if your going to Close main Resturant at least inform your guests the day before so we can Book a table at Azure this happened 2 times :-( not good.
2) better information as Not everyone goes into main reception area to see what offers are on that night.
3)the steps from the Main pool to the beach are Too steep and should be adjusted ( and I'm NOT old yet)

And finally on our last night when we queried weather they would give us something Off as it was our 30th we were told NO just pay up.

We then somehow got talking without knowing to the Food and Beverage Manager Richard and told him of our sadness that even tho we had spent a small fortune everyday at his hotel we received Nothing for our 30th so he arranged for us to have a free buffet evening meal before we departed for home ( thanks Richard it's good to see someone listens)

The Radisson blu Phuket Cape panawa beach the most lovely place to spend 2 weeks go try it but Don't expect anything for FREE even if you have seen someone else on trip advisor saying they got something.

Me, my girlfriend and our little girl had a somewhat lovely stat at radisson.
Nice room and a nice pool area.
We stayed for 3 weeks, but the last week was not so pleasant.
One day after we arrived back from a trip, we discovered that my girlfriends engagement ring had been stolen, from our locked room.
The hotel took "ok" care of it and drove us to the police station.
But we were not offered an apology or any form of payment.
We have later on tried to make contact to the Hotel, (4 mails) but we haven't got any replies back. So I decided to write it in here instead.
So if you decide to go to Radisson Cape Panwa make sure you keep a close eye on your valuables.
Best Regards N D Larsen.

Dear Management Team

I would have to say that this hotel has exceed my satisfaction. Not just me, but my family also fell in love with this hotel. My family and I travelled to Phuket from 06 June 14 until 09 June 14. We booked the room directly through official hotel website and we stayed in the room number 2006 (pool villa).

First impression came from the receptionist during our arrival. She is very friendly and very helpful. She suggested us how to plan our trip in Phuket. She kept taking care of us during our stay. I intended to give her some reward during my departure, but unfortunately she was not working at that time.

The room is decorated in a Thai contemporary architecture. Even though it is not my style, but it looks excellent for overall. One thing, the amenities provided in the bathroom (shower gel, shampoo, body lotion and etc.) are quite small. They ran out quickly, but the housekeepers did not refill. Therefore, I had to call to request for more.

Lastly, the facilities and the services are exceptional. The swimming pool with the private beach is extremely beautiful. Plus, there are many activities offering in the hotel. We enjoyed everything.

This is such a great value hotel in Phuket. I would stay here if I visit there again.

Sincerely yours,

Room Tip: Book directly with the hotel is recommended

We celebrated our first anniversary on this hotel and it was just splendid, superb. The hotel is on the southern part of the island, cape panwa, a peaceful location unlike Patong/Kata beach. If you want to enjoy the beauty of Phuket in a peaceful location and want to avoid tourist crowd, then this is the best place to stay. While staying at the hotel, you wouldn't feel like going anywhere else. The hotel private beach is simple awesome. At the time of low tide, the tides go away about half a km and you can really walk long in the beach. This is really a super experience. The sea water is clean and refreshing, with mainly sand and plenty of loungers, plus free use of catamaran, sea kayaks, etc.

The hotel is situated in huge property with 4 pools, the 4 pools are all clean and have plenty of loungers to relax on...Pool bar happy hour is good for a late afternoon swim up drink :). Can highly recommend one of the day beds if you manage to snare one.

The room is huge and with a attached huge balcony. You can get a view of the sea and swimming pools by sitting here. The bathroom is also up to 5 star mark with huge bathtub , walk in shower, etc.

Breakfast was good, with good selection, but very expensive for what you get. We had our Anniversary dinner on Sea side restaurant 'Aqua' and it was good. There are a few shops and restaurants nearby, a 24x7 just opposite to the resort and the Phuket aquarium in Cape Panwa is also walking distance from the resort. The resort does run a shuttle to Phuket town in the afternoons and to Patong at night.

We stayed for 3 nights 4 days and overall had a fantastic holiday and loved staying here. We would definitely stay here again and hope to come back soon!

Room Tip: Choose a sea view room on 1st floor...

We stayed there in late May 2014 and absolutely loved it.

The hotel was very quiet, largely because some people have been put off by the political situation in Thailand, but our stay was very enjoyable.

The hotel staff were really accommodating and the Azule restaurant was our favourite for Thai cuisine, and they have another restaurant if you fancy international / European cuisine.

We just chilled out by the two pools and loved the pool side beds.

We also had a great time doing a Thai cooking class that we paid for as an extra.
They thought us how to cook 5 dishes that were really tasty, but the whole session was good fun.

There are loads of other things to do in the hotel, e.g. gym and spa, but we really enjoyed chilling out.

Our room was amazing (junior king suite) and had a great view of the beach, and felt secluded from other rooms, so we really loved staying there.

The continental and cooked breakfast was pretty good. Not loads to choose from, but enough to keep you interested for a week.

Overall it was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing hotels I have stayed in.

We stayed here as a part of our honeymoon trip. The rate we booked online from a third party website was excellent so we weren't expecting too much. We did inform the hotel that we were celebrating our honeymoon--we got some flower petals and a flat sheet folded in the shape of a fan on the bed. I feel like honeymoons are a time when most hotels will at least offer a one-class upgrade, but don't expect that at this hotel. But that's okay--what's with the sense of entitlement, right? Overall the room was fine, quite dark but the AC worked well and bed was comfortable. We were in the building very close to the upper pool (which was much more quiet than the lower pool). We were able to get the large covered daybeds each day by the upper pool, which was great for quiet relaxation and reading. The lower pool had more activity, with the daybeds claimed early, and the regular lounge chairs crammed so close together.

There are several local Thai restaurants nearby that are great. We tried most of them, but the best one by far was Sawasdee, which is further down the road past the military base by the water. Felt much more authentic than western hotel food--prices were obviously better too. Family Mart is also across the street for cheap snacks.

The staff here were generally good. The front desk/check-in staff were rather cold and ho-hum and didn't especially make us feel welcomed, both during check in and subsequent visits for questions. We did have airport pickup as well as one of the hotel cars take us to our next hotel in Phuket--both of those guys were excellent and the prices were very reasonable. We also took part in one of the towel art classes, where a few ladies (from housekeeping I think) taught us how to make elephants etc. out of towels. Although they didn't really speak English too well, they were very enthusiastic and friendly. All in all, a good stay, but I wouldn't say the hotel made for an especially special experience.
