Great hotel! I spend 7 nights here and liked it alot. Good restaurant and lovley staff! Good wifi that worked perfect, they even have wifi in the shuttle car;) the pool is really nice.
They have a shuttle car that can take you to the good beach or to the town. Tip is to rent motorbike so you can go wherever you want. Very very nice hotel.

i'm only doing this because they asked me to, and i think its worth the trouble.
Service- Good, limited english but ok, enough to get the job done.
condition - good , clean , fresh as its new , nice design, tastefully done, romantic and great for a honeymoon.
location- know what you get into as panwa is not exactly Patong or Karon. and this place is not near (walking distance) to other panwa big hotels too. whilst i say this, if you intend to dwell only n this resort then its OK, otherwise a car rental is HIGHLY encouraged.
OVerall value for money, breakfast was std fare but well presented and clean looking.
they take the effort to ask for a review as well : ) . Would return if I had the chance.

Room Tip: Take the first row facing the beach/mangroves (better view) . Rent-a-car here.

I've been staying for 4 days at the The Mangrove. The stay was really nice and so are the staff, in the end I was almost sorry to leave.

The mangmoom bar is very rich and tasty Thai food, you can choose international menus as well. I love Thai food, and I found the best around. Spaghetti cabonara also were fantastic.

My only qualm was that the restaurant closed a little too early each evening.

Located on a pretty calm and peaceful end of Phuket. The best thing about this hotel was the free shuttle service that operates four times a day and the free wifi that was available in the hotel as well as the shuttle. The downside is that much of the staff, especially the ones operating the restaurant/cafe are incapable of talking/understanding in English therefore we had a hard time communicating with them. Otherwise the hotel is really quiet and calm, like an island resort, and the poolside is located right near the beach. The rooms are big and clean. One thing to keep in mind when selecting this hotel for stay is that it is located at the pretty far end of Phuket so you will have a hard time finding a taxi and the taxi fare in Phuket from one place to another is pretty expensive so only choose this if you plan to have a pleasant and peaceful stay by the sea-side with as less travel within the city as possible.

The cottages were nicely designed, with a outdoor bathtub. Considering the price we paid, it was a really great bargain. We were given a free upgrade to a better cottage, which is really nice of the staff. The staff were really friendly and helpful. My friend lost her passport in the airport and the staff were really nice and helped us called the airport and fight company we were on. When they finally found the passport, they offered to go back to get it for us, letting us enjoy the night relaxing at the villa. Would definitely go back to the hotel to visit you guys and have another fantastic holiday!!!

- New, well designed cottages/ villas.
- Considering the cost, its a great bargain. We paid approx SGD 100-120 per night.
- Great interiors
- Very Clean
- Great rain shower, with good force.
- Great service.
- Staff was happy to show us a choice of villas, till we chose one.
- They helped us with detailed directions to the night market and other tourist places.
- Breakfast was customized to our preferences. We requested for an egg while omelette, with lots of veggies and cheese. It was perfect. They added some fried broccoli and mushrooms at the side, without requesting.
- The quality of food and fruits was very good.
- This place is great for people who would like to relax.

- It is far from city. There are no stores or shops around for more than 1 KM radius.
- They hav shuttle service. But we did not use since we had our own car.
- There is no good beach that is at walk-able distance.
- The beach in front of the resort does not have a real sand strip. its more of a bay. Its great to just sit and relax, but I wouldnt swim there.
- The steps along the way, between the reception and pool seem a little scary for kids and elders, especially when it has rained. They seem a bit steep, there are no railings to hold to and there are no markings between 2 steps. They are solid stone, so if you fall then u r likely to get hurt bad. Only a concern for kids and elders.
- If you are looking for a party place, this is not for you. It is more for relaxing.

Room Tip: All villas are exactly same. The type varies with the location. Only 4 villas are directly facing...

We liked all the food they served.Tom yam kung they serve here is different.
I found the free one-way shuttle service to Phuket town useful.
(paid 300THB for the taxi on the wayback)

Good luck with your marketing, Vic. Thanks for your hospitality.
