We are currently staying at phuket panwa beachfront hotel and decided to see if this place was open as the last reviews were pretty old! I have to say this place is a hidden gem! We were the only people there eating which was a shame as the food was fresh, authentic and delicious!

Its located opposite phuket panwa beachfront up a small hill, the views are amazing and there is also table football and a pool table which my 6 year old loved!

We orderd b-b-q spare ribs and prawn cakes to start followed by seafood in red curry, stirfried sweet and sour chicken and crispy noodles with pork in gravey, my son had crispy sausages wrapped in bacon and chips!

Firstly they are traditonal so what gets cooked 1st comes out 1st! The prawn cakes are huge and totally delicious! You get 5 and that alone is a main course! The ribs are b-b-q'd on coal and come with grilled vegatables which have that wonderful smokey flavor. The other dishes were huge and just as good. We only ate half of it and had a few cocktails and the bill came to £36! Not badfor what was really 7 dishes, the menu is huge! Please take a visit you wont be dissapointed!

We went here on a recommendation are were very disappointed. The staff were more interested in chatting on mobiles and the internet, and to each other. Service was very slow.

All the food we ordered - despite the menu names and descriptions - was deep fried and served with plain sweet chili sauce. Very oily, very salty, very bland. We didn't finish anything, and the staff didn't care when we said we were disappointed.

We asked for a free pick up from
The Radisson n they came albeit a little late because the hotel had to pick some other guests from a nearby hotel.
Upon arrival we were brought through the beautiful restaurant with a nice view of the makham bay. Almost half of the dining was al fresco. And there is a special "pavilion" seating for 4 persons at the outdoor area. But wherever u sit outdoor u will have a beautiful view of the bay

As we arrived when it was dark, I tried to order from the menu at my outdoor table and felt the lighting was a bit too dim. When the food came I couldn't also see everything very clearly due to the dim n romantic lighting.
We ordered a chicken massaman curry, spring rolls, stir fried beef w black pepper, fried kale with crispy pork, tom yam seafood soup and a spaghetti for the kids to share. With some beer n water, the bill came up to less than THB1200 baht.we liked the Masaman curry and the Tom yum soup. The spring roll was delicious too.

Overall I would recommend going there at least once for a meal if u are in the cape panwa area. It's still pretty quiet at the moment so the restaurant is not packed yet. But as more n more people discover it (especially
via trip advisor, like me), it would prob get v popular.

Tip: go there early evening to catch the sunset. Heard its pretty.

We went to the Chalet when we were staying at Kantary Bay. We seen a couple of reviews on here anfd once there, we saw the girl handing our menus on the waterfront in front of the hotel, they also offered a free lift up to the Chalet and a free lift back once we were ready. We really enjoyed our food and because we go there early, we enjoyed the most amazing views before the sunset. The cocktails were amazing and the food was absolutely delicious, especially my veggie food! Once we finished our meal, we stayed for a night's worth of cocktails and i think our bill came to about £30 at the end including all the food we ate and all the cocktails we drank. Once we were suitablily plied with alcohol, and full to the brim with lushous food, we jumped into the car for the lift back to the hotel. What a perfect evening in a gorgeous hidden gem.
