As a local expat and chef with 10 years experience living and working in Phuket I am constantly on the hunt for new dining experiences that both inspire and excite. "The Grill" restaurant at the Regent Phuket Cape Panwa was just that place. The food (and the company) were truly unforgettable. We sampled many of the dishes inspired by Executive Chef Justin Baziuk's creativity. Dish after dish left lasting memories. Great tastes and smells were eagerly matched with the anticipation of what was coming next.. It is truly worth the trip to stunning Cape Panwa if your looking for a great grill restaurant with refreshing presentations. Also, make sure to arrive before sunset and enjoy some amazing cocktails at the roof top area. Brilliant!

We have stayed in this place in July 2014 and it is a nice place to spend few days. Nice place but I wouldn't go back to be honest..... The rooms are clean and well equipped with few free standard drinks in the fridge, and all rooms have good view of the sea. The food is very expensive so I suggest you walk down the road to the corner seafood restaurant and the food is grate and price is reasonable. What is really disappointed us is their breakfast menu; where they offer you to select from as part of the free buffet menu but at the end they bring you a bill they say part of what you have ordered was not included in the free buffet you have paid for! So you have to pay..... A bit cheeky I would say :-) but this is Thailand!... Oh, one more point; before we booked we asked the hotel if we can swim and beach is sandy they said yes but in fact the beach is very small and it is not possible to swim covered with rock to about 100m deep in to the sea.

Dear Soran B,

Warm greetings from Regent Phuket Cape Panwa.

Thank you very much for taking time to share your feedbacks.

We are delighted to read that our secluded location and the lush tropical landscape of our resort provide you the true relaxation and that you were enjoying the peaceful getaway. It is great to learn that you liked the comfort of our accommodation and the amenities provided including the complimentary daily replenishment coffee and tea, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks.

We are sorry to read that whilst you enjoyed some aspects of your stay with us it was not entirely to your satisfaction. Our breakfast provides at The Restaurant is a combination of buffet line and A La Carte menu which included in the room rate. However, there is just only Raw Juice Blend that will have surcharge in the breakfast menu.

We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back at our resort again.

Warm regards,
Regent Phuket Cape Panwa

Staing here for one week. First day had a ocean view pool villa. Unfortunately the view wasn't that great. Then changed to the more expensive ocean view villa. Here got a lovely view from the bed on to the ocean. When sitting in the pool we don't see one bit of the ocean because the trees and hedges are growing about 1-2 meter higher than the pool level.
The Pool ocean and see view villas offer a butler service free of extra charge. Also included are: breakfast, afternoon tea and 8 pieces of clothe a day for laundry. There is a shuttle service to the shopping mall every day at 11 am, 2 pm and in the evening there is one for patong. Food is good, staff very friendly and hotel is clean. Around the pool there is a bit of painting work needed. The windows/doors in the bathroom dont shut properly. There are gaps big enough for moskitos to enter.
All in all, not the 5 stars we experienced in other hotels, but a nice hotel if you enjoy privacy, big bath tub, nice room and if you don't need a beach in walking distance.

Dear V M in Zurich,

Warm greetings from Regent Phuket Cape Panwa.

Thank you for your valued feedback following your stay with us. Indeed, our resort offers the utmost tranquil and privacy. It is delighted that you love our Pool Villa with ocean views and the extra perks including: butler services, minibar and alcohol drinks, daily laundry services and access to Regent Club for the all day snacks tea and coffee and pre-dinner cocktails.

Some villas are away from the beach, however we do have direct beach access from our resort. Our efficient buggi services are always prompt to bring guest to the path to the beach and from there, there are only few steps.

We hope you had a pleasant trip back home. And we look forward to welcoming you back to this serene paradise again.

Tropical regards,

Lena the assistant manager was always making sure that everything was right, we even forgot
some documents and she sent it to our next resort.
We stayed at a pool villa which gave us the right to the exclusive pool lounge for the villa pool guests which had an amazing view and we took our breakfast there every day.
The view from that pool lounge was breath taking.
We noticed that there were some rooms on top of the resort without a swimming pool and I imagine that the view is breath taking from there too.
We didn't stay very much at the room because the vegetation was blocking parcially the view to the sea so I recommend that you ask for a room in the upper level of the hotel.
The hotel is close to Phuket town

Room Tip: Ask for a room as high in the hill resort as poosible so that the vegetation in front will not bloc...

Stayed there in the pool villa, that was an excellent choice combining the privacy, view and comfort. I was keen to have a combination of pool and sea and Regent was one of very few properties provide this in Phuket. The room is excellent in terms of comfort, cleanliness, amenities and supplies. Staff were very polite and helpful.he food selection in the Breakfast Buffet.

Hotel is located in a remote area with far proximity from restaurants and shopping areas. Hence you should largely depend on in-hotel dining or else you need to use hotel taxi that is a bit costly. Anyways, cost of food in hotel is reasonable.

Our recent 3 days 2 nights stay at the Regent Cape Panwa is nothing short of magical and spectacular, even though this is technically Phuket's 'low-season' because of the daily downpours due to the monsoons.

We were welcomed at the reception by Toon, who checked us in and explained the resort facilities to us in detail. We later discovered to our pleasant surprise that she is never too far away to lead us to our destination on the resort, whether rain or shine.

Villa 27 allocated to us was surrounded by lush vegetation for utmost privacy, and very nicely appointed in modern Thai style with spectacular views of Cape Panwa and the pristine Andaman Sea. I especially loved the quaint little wooden porch at the front part of the living room. It seemed like the perfect place to take in the beautiful sea view and enjoy a relaxing cup of afternoon tea.

Service at the Regent Club, The Restaurant, and The Library were impeccable, with friendly and very well-trained staff who were always around the corner to serve, but were never too obtrusive. When not serving, they are actually very nice, genuine, and friendly to talk to as well.

Both Thai and continental breakfast served at the Regent Club and The Restaurant were freshly cooked and beautifully presented, with a wide selection of pastries, cereals, and fruits to choose from. The lively flora and fauna around the breakfast area also added to the laid back charm of the place.

The private beach is also a very nice place to relax with calm waves throughout the day, as if we weren't already pampered enough by the enchanting views from our pool villa throughout the day.

Amenities, if not already provided in the well-appointed rooms, are close by, with a Family Mart at the entrance of the resort, and twice daily shuttle services to Central Festival.

Last but not least, the view from our private pool villa is to die for. Whether it is to enjoy the brilliant golden hues of sunrise and sunset, or the gentle ripples in the pool during the occasional drizzle, or even relaxing in the pool watching the clouds go by or the boats at sea, soaking in the sunshine and listening to the lively cacophony of the birds chirping from the trees, it is an experience not to be missed.

We will certainly be back!

How come such a brand hotel provide such kind of dirty room....

Dear M N in Hong Kong,

Thank you for your review on TripAdvisor.

We are very sorry to hear about your experience. Our housekeeping team work around the clock everyday to make sure that our rooms are clean and in top conditions so our guests can enjoy the highest level of comfort typical of our brand.

On this occasion we clearly felt short of our standards and we unreservedly apologise. Please also note that the resort is situated in a natural area and, although we do absolutely our best to avoid insects getting into our rooms, we also try to minimise the use of chemicals to get rid of insects as these substances can be harmful for our guests too.

We will address about this problem with our host and we'll do our best to make sure this won't happen again.

Warm regards,
Regent Phuket Cape Panwa
