"We just came back from our second stay at Cape Panwa (12 days in August) and decided that this time we really have to write a review. It was great again and we felt the service was more attentive than last year. It was lovely to see again some staff we had known before. We found everything we had liked last year and were looking forward to: private beach with soft sand, a lot of sunbeds in a tropical garden, spacious and very clean family suit with a view on the sun climbing from behind palm trees, delicious food and especially those buffet breakfasts with a huge choice of Western and Eastern food. Barbecue dinner with Australian lamb and beef is not to be missed either. There is a lot of reasons why we liked Cape Panwa and they have been described by many precedent reviewers. I would like to add that we were worried before our departure, because we learnt that the Bamboo bar would undergo a reconstruction during our stay. We found out that was not an issue. To prevent any disturb, the hotel offered free trips to the Coral island every day but Wednesday and made a nice gesture of a free aperitive of canapes and soft drinks and beer every day from 5 to 6 pm at the charming Panwa House on the beach. We decided to stay and relax at the hotel beach every day, as the Bamboo bar was swiftly moved closer to the Panwa House and worked as usual (the staff are very pleasant people who do not hesitate to go an extra mile for you), while the builders put an enclosure around the site and we noticed them only on few occasions - like when they dismantled the old bar pavement). There are loads of sunbeds and umbrellas in quite a long stretch of the park, if you want to be sure, you can take those more distant from the enclosure or have them moved, really no need to "reserve" them with a towel. The also hotel proposes several activities (Seabee divers come more often than last year and my daughter really enjoyed her diving course with them), trips or provides advice about places to go and what are reasonable prices. Another good thing is that activities in the hotel are discrete - no animators running around or waking people up with a whistle. Tim was very helpful to us, a big thanks to him and his team."
