“Such a lovely place, you will not be disappointed!”
Reviewed 3 June 2017 for a stay in June 2016

I can not recommed this place more, I was just amazed. The interior of villa is magical and whole place is so beautiful. The food is heavenly good (as everything is made from homegrown ingridients),people are friendly, great vine and peaceful surroundings. Real italian dream come true, I can only recommend :)

“great vacation rental”
Reviewed 30 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

This property provides 3 large bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The master was massive, it had a desk and work area, there was no wifi connection to the master, the walls were too thick. The wifi was good through the rest of the house. You get a bottle of sparkling wine in the beginning as a welcome gift, they also have wine in the cabinet you can buy. The kitchen was on the small side, but functional. The outside area is great, we ate most of our meals outside. We sat around the pool, but early April was too early for swimming. There are laundry facilities on site. This is a nice place to spend time with families and friends.

“Luxurious, comfortable home in a gorgeous setting”
Reviewed 19 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Our family of three greatly enjoyed the idyllic surroundings from this spacious and beautiful home. It is set on a former stud farm and you can still enjoy watching the remaining horses graze. My 10-year-old loved the large pool which has ample chaises for relaxing comfortably. Just off the pool is the steam room which was nice in the cool nights. We cooked most nights and the kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms are huge and each has its own bathroom, one with a lovely tub and plenty of hot water. Town of Cecina with a large grocery store, Coop, is about 20 minutes away. The on-site caretakers are helpful but not obtrusive and the owner, Nicola, charming. We took easy day trips to Siena and the Cinque Terre, and we had a fabulous meal out at the Osteria viadante. Peace, quiet and comfort amidst the Tuscan hills!

Since long ago I had a dream to see real Tuscany with outstanding landscape and unique atmosphere, which I could only imagine from the movie scenes :) This place is much more than I expected!! Breathtaking view wherever you go!!
Amazing villa, perfect accommodation and very warm host.
Peaceful evenings in terrace, hot days in the swimming pool, horses in the fields, delicious food and the best olive oil I've ever tasted in my life!!!
The place where want to come back over and over again!

This is a beautiful property, outstanding views, a very nice infinity pool and very comfortable accomodations. There is also a housekeeper on site who provides friendly, unobtrusive service and who also cooked us a delicious 4 course dinner one of the nights we were there. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful spot within driving distance to major Tuscan towns (Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano)

Liked best: The views and the infinity pool
Liked least: Drives to surrounding towns took longer than expected given the winding Tuscan roads

“Magical, picturesc, Pet friendly including horses”
Reviewed 6 June 2013 for a stay in June 2013

This place on arrived is essence is fairytale like. Definitely a hidden gem.
The propery is owned and run by a lovely Italian Vet who cares for horses and minds other pets from surrounding neighbours.

The place is 17th century villa with all the mod cons for the most relaxing stay you could ever imagine. The bay is a few Km's drive from the property situated on the other side of the wild poppy filled hills.

Nothing like steaming yourelf in the chilly night before, after long day sunbathing all day by the pool to the sounds of the horses neighing and the birds chirping.

The historical Roman city of Volterra is on 15km away by car and so is the Tyrrhenian coast for the amazing sea view.

Pisa, Sienna and Florence are a few hours drive there for day trips are definitely a MUST!!
There is always someone on site as there is a caretaker who lives on the property therefore there is no need to worry about arrival and all the other small things. There is always someone you can ask for help if need be, otherwise our privacy was well respected.

BELISSIMA to say the least.
COULD LIVE HERE FOREVER XOX

“Amazing rest in Villa Fonteintanata, Tuscany”
Reviewed 28 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

Totally unrealistic resting place for those who want to travel with your pet, even if it is a horse :) Essentially Royal Suite with everything you could need for a holiday and much more. Warm-hearted and hospitable hosts, wonderful Tuscan nature, horses, great food, and complete peace of mind, or could you want more? :)))
