This Riad is lovely. The owners are French. It is not well situated but the Riad is worth the stay. They have a beautiful interior garden with a pool. Lots of flowers. I had a nice spacious room. The personnel is very attentive and we had one of our best meals while we we're in Morocco. We ate outside on the terrace. For starters we had a puree of zucchinis with peppers and a puree of eggplant very tasty. Our main dish was beef tajine served with prunes, scalloped potatoes and a fruit salad for dessert. Also the breakfast was excellent.

We came here because the Riad in the neighbourhood had been overbooked, but we came into a little paradise: very personal attention bij the owners and the personell, always wanting to answer your question in the best possible way. They arranged a guide to show us around town. They showed us a nice fish restaurant at the sea side near Algadir at 1,5 hours drive. The riad has a nice roof terrace with jacuzzi and the sunset is lovely from here. in the summer the swiming pool should be wondeful as well. The whole riad is well decorated and the rooms are large and luxourous. i would advise anyone who stays in the neighbourhood to go there.

The gems we experienced at this Riad were many; where to begin? First, we loved the beautiful, airy home with large sweeping patios, spacious clean rooms, local décor, and majestic 3-meter ceilings. The enticing large central pool was a tad too cold for this time of year – we made it halfway to cool off from the sun. The rooftop – also with large sitting areas and sweeping 360 views including of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains – was a hit. After dinner each night we enjoyed the built-in rooftop area Jacuzzi, under a canopy of stars. The entire property was in top shape; no small feat considering the added work with the huge flowery gardens and stucco parts of the structure. Second, a lovey welcoming staff, plus the owners who attentively check-in and visit – even humoring us with our woeful limited French and offering tips such as recommending the perfect local city guide to help us see the city and make sure we saw the best shops. (The guide was friendly, proactive for our needs, showing us want we wanted to see and fit to our schedule. He had great insights as well -- like dropping into a local silversmith/jeweler and where we had a fast 30 second visit to see his craft without the least mention of even asking us to look and consider his shop.) Next the rustic location of the Riad. Others seem to have a mixed impression; not us; we loved it. Yes, this is 5-10 km outside the city (easy 10 min drive) in a humble neighborhood with colorful vistas from the roof of surrounding meadows, sheep grazing, children playing, men traveling to/from agricultural fields by bicycle or donkey cart, and a few rustic homes going up brick by brick. Some found the location hard to find we did too; and were glad to arrive by day. Do pay attention to the exact directions and look for the big green sign traveling northbound slowly just after the store they mention. Hopefully the leading internet map company will update the location pin! Our Western tendencies kept us inside the large Riad walls, but an afternoon walk through the neighborhood to the Mosque gave a bucolic and vibrant glimpse of rural neighborhood life and every local greeted us with a warm smile and “ça va?” Finally the meals. Compared with other Riads we have stayed on a previous trip to Morocco, and to our prior stay, this offered the best. We do not eat beef, and this was fully respected with planning two nights of seafood – one a fish tajine and one a barbecue mix of seafood/fish, and one a chicken tajine with stuffed peppers that was beyond words. Great local Moroccan wines – another unexpected surprise (plus starting at only 10-15 euro / bottle). We came three nights for relaxing – reading in the sun – and for a half-day of shopping and seeing the authentic city of Taroudant, which we enjoyed more than Marrakesh on our first trip to Morocco two years ago. We found this and more! Our friends considering Morocco will know to seek out this gem, and we hope to someday return.

A very good Riad although quite far out of the centre. We were all disappointed at the very bland and basic food which if we had been told the price before booking we would have agreed to. Our meal started with what tasted like a packet Moroccan Harira soup, followed by 1 Tajine of beef chunks with juice and 4 prunes (not veal as offered by the patron) and a separate Tajine of vegetables. The desert was strawberries & plumbs in a small dish. Not what you would expect for 160dh (£12) per head in Morocco where the average price is half that.
This particular Riad's food let the owners down and was not prepared by them but entrusted to staff - so a very disappointing experience. The 4 of us travelling are all seasoned travellers who have worked in the travel trade for many years and now reside in Morocco.
Thankfully there are many wonderful places to stay and eat fantastic food In this diverse and amazing country.

The riad is beautiful and located in a very quiet area, 5 km far from Taroudant (you need a car) It is ideal to relax and sleep well. There is a swimming pool in the middle, a garden and a jacuzzi on the roof. The rooms are very big, with air conditioning/heating, hot water and they are well fournished, in spite of their reasonable price. The French owners are very friendly as well as the person in charge of taking care of the riad, always at our disposal and accessible, and the cook. She is very sweet and able to prepare delicious and rich dinners and breakfasts. Among the best meals in Morocco! Highly recommended.

The small piste to get to the riad from the main road is a bit hidden, but it is worth looking for it as it leads you to a beautiful oasis of peace.
