We were hoping to stay in this converted convent for a few nights as they support the orphanage next door and we were keen on knowing our money, for a change, was going to a good cause rather than to European hands.
Sadly, the rugs in the room were manky, our private wet room did not look clean and tiles were broken up - we did not even dare to shower. It was winter and rooms don't have heating, hence quite cold. We ended up going to a different riad nearby for the next two nights, which was slightly more expensive but 10 times more comfortable and beautiful.
Would gladly return if the standard was just a little higher for 300 dirhams per night.
