We only spent a couple of nights in this hotel but it made a wonderful finale to our holiday. Marc and Monaime were so attentive - nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is very spacious and stylish and set in beautiful gardens with orange and lemon trees. The pool was too cold to swim in but there was a small heated Jacuzzi pool and it was very peaceful to lie in the sun by the pool. Breakfasts were so magnificent that we could not finish them. Dinners were superb and the dining room was well heated. There was a lovely log fire in the lounge where we had our preprandial drinks and coffee afterwards. We look forward very much to returning to this lovely hotel.

I just stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks while travelling on business. I found this hotel to be very very good. The rooms are very nicely appointed in an arabic style, the staff were fantastic, friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble for them and the meals in the restaurant were very good.
At around 65 euros a night b/b I found it to excellent value. Many thanks for an excellent first experience of Morocco! AAAAA+

It's a very easy 45 minute drive from Agadir Airport to this very relaxing, friendly hotel.

The Swiss owners thought of everything and designed a welcoming property with a great emphasis on customer service. Staff speak English, are charming and very professional.

Large pool and jacuzzi surrounded by banana, orange, grapefruit, fig, lemon and a host of other trees! The smell of jasmine is everywhere - for me that is the smell of Morocco - apart from pollution, obviously.

Breakfast is heavenly - lots of breads/croissants honey, jam, marmalade, yoghurt, decent coffee, omelettes, fresh juice etc. Great food at dinner time, as will including an almond milk dessert which was a treat.

Hotel has a log fire living area, a large foyer which is also very comfortable and very good, free wifi. Rooms are a good size, and set in the very pretty grounds. Not too convinced by the Berber village 2013 annexe, which looks to me like a very clever way of maximising yield without having to build any new rooms - just shove some tents up and call it authentic Berber living! Clever, very clever! I would rather have a room, though.

Bathroom was a lovely tub, very good water pressure and lots of hot water. Flat screen telly with all the usual European channels. Bathrobe and decent products.

The area is about 3.5 hours drive away from Marrakech but it's only 45 mins into the mountains if you fancy a go at twisting sheer cliff drop roads. The main town has a very old fortressed medina.

A great bargain of a hotel in an area that would be good for a few days peace and quiet. Came in late Feb 14 - was very hot, with temperatures already in the 20s c. Totally recommend this place.

Room Tip: There are a few rooms before the main reception - these are likely to suffer from noise from the bus...

I have stayed in this hotel several times while in Morocco on business and highly recommend it .

It is built around a very attractive garden, and the individual rooms are tastefully set out and though simple, are very comfortable, clean and impeccably kept. Each room has a table outside surrounded by orange trees and other fragrant plants like jasmine, making a very pleasant place to relax after work.

The service is first class and cannot be faulted. I often arrive near midnight, and leave early in the morning before the restaurant opens. No matter - the staff always see that a cold supper or hot breakfast is ready for me. The evening meal is usually very good indeed.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and I really cannot find fault with the hotel at all.

As a very frequent traveller, who spends a great deal of time in hotels, I rarely, if ever, stay in one that I would trouble to recommend. Dar Zitoune is the exceptional, for an exceptionally good hotel.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are good. However, my favourite is 'Pistachio' as its piece of the garden...

Monaime and his staff achieve what is very rare these days, a totally relaxing experience for guests with unobtrusive but brilliantly efficient service. We stayed in a bungalow in the hotel's very well tended, and interesting garden. Even though the pool isn't heated, we managed to swim in it in February, and warm up afterwards in the heated jacuzzi. I think the highlight was a delicious breakfast each morning brought to our private terrace. The rooms were clean, everything worked, a dud light bulb was replaced within a few minutes. All in all it was a perfect place for our escape from the cold of a UK February. We shall be back.

A very confortable hotel with a wide garden and swimming Pool, near the medina of Taroudant(a
taxi is necessary to go to the city)
NO USE TO HAVE A sUITE , the deluxe room are perfect, and the rate including one dinner may look expensive but the services of the hotel are easily a 4 or 5 stars ones
Restaurant and breakfast are delicious, wine available but not cheap
Only avoid the service of the limousine of the hotel ,except you are 3 or 4 ,you can have the old
Mercedes Taxi easily available for nearly half price
Taroudant is a Gem,only for the connoisseur

While on business (4 weeks) this hotel was a great refuge from the hot and sticky work I was involved with in industry.
The food, drink, chalet and everything else was a great relief after a hard days work. As I only had a few opportunities to use the pool during my stay the only comment I can make is that the pool is a little too close to the road (out of sight behind a wall), some - and I stress, some - road noise gets through but there is no junction or hill on the road so it really is just a bit of passing traffic.

Stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: All are of Moroccan design and at first seem a little 'dark' but you soon appreciate the coo...
