Great location, with fabulous views looking across the trees. We had fun bird watching from the comfort of the sofa, and watching the bats in the evening. Janet was very welcoming and friendly. Used the accommodation as a base for a family party, so we didn't get a chance to do much sight-seeing, apart from the Kilmartin Museum, which was great.
Nice comfortable chalet with a nice view out of the main window. There is no television or wifi which is quite nice these days but also no reception for quite some miles so if you are wanting to research places to go do it before you leave. Also make sure you take some basics with you e.g. Milk, bread, tea, coffee as the nearest shop is a few miles away. The local pub is very friendly and does nice food but only go if you have plenty of time as we waited over an hour for a main course. We didn't mind as we had time for another drink!
The place had everything we were looking for to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very nice and comfortable accommodation. The historic monuments of Kilmartin glen are also 5 minutes walk away and there are plenty of other scenic walks....absolutely beautiful and fascinating glen.
We found this to be a very homely environment with everything you could want. Lots of lovely wee added touches inside the chalet and a beautiful garden outside. The local hotel and museum cafe had a varied selection of food available and all within a few minutes walk. Lots of lovely places to see nearby - we had a drive to the Atlantic bridge which goes to the Isle of Seil. Absolutely stunning. Lots of lovely places to discover that are off the beaten track. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil break .
A comfortable chalet set in beautiful west coast cottage garden with great views through the picture window over Kilmartin Glen. And a warm welcome to boot!
Fantastic chalet with good views in an area that is packed with Stone Circles, Hill Forts and walks. The chalet has up to date kitchen and shower room. Will be back
