Stayed over Good Friday through to the Sunday. We found the B&B very clean and the breakfast excellent. Cameron and Lynn are great hosts and exceptionally polite and welcoming. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them and they are a very good source of information and recommendations. Definitely recommend and no doubt go back..

We are so pleased that you chose to stay at Dunchraigaig House - we enjoyed meeting you both. Thank you for taking the time to post your review of your stay. It was a wonderful sunny Easter weekend and we hope that Argyll worked it's magic and left you feeling relaxed and revived! We would love to see you again if you return to the area.

Many thanks again to Lynn and Cameron for making us feel as welcome as always. Our 4th or 5th stay here and it's impossible to fault the warm welcome, wonderful food and idyllic location. A firm favourite which I recommend unreservedly.

Room Tip: The red room has a great view of the back garden - if you want to while away hours watching the wild...

A wonderful B&B. I stayed two nights whilst attending a course nearby. All areas of the house are spotless, warm and cozy. The breakfast was of the highest quality with fresh fruit, lovely porridge and eggs from the hens you can see whilst eating your breakfast. The hosts were very friendly and of course to see a Pine Marten so close up was possibly a once in a lifetime experience.
I cannot recommend this B&B enough. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed by any element of a stay here.

Another wonderful stay at Dunchraigaig.
Once again Lynne and Cameron surpassed themselves with great hospitality, wonderful food and beautiful scenery.
Visited Crinan, Tarbert, Inverary and Kintyre. Also sailed to Colonsay past Mull, Scarba, Jura and Islay, taking in the most beautiful scenery in the world . . . and it didn't rain! what more can you ask for.
We can't wait for our next trip.

A visit to the Kilmartin area is highly recommended and staying with Lynn and Cameron very much complemented our weekend break. In particular the fantastic food (and not just breakfasts, the packed lunches were great too, especially after a dusk visit to the Beaver loch!); Lynn and Cameron's warm and professional hospitality plus their attention to detail, for example the delicious variety of organic clipper teas and Border biscuits were a real treat. It's clear they have given an enormous amount of thought to running thier business. Not to forget the brilliant pine marten encounters!

What a find! If, like me, you are wary of gushing reviews then rest easy: every word of this review has been carefully considered, and I would not demur from any of the points made by william b in his measured 5-star review. My stay for two nights coincided with my 72nd birthday, and the icing on the cake could be said to be the special birthday card that I received from Lynn and Cameron on my arrival. This kind gesture exemplifies the level of service and hospitality: efficient, attentive and friendly - never intrusive. I recommend Dunchraigaig House highly. As to added attractions: top of the list is the prospect of seeing a pine-marten feeding from the bird table at breakfast time. Second is a visit to the nearby beaver reserve. If I was disappointed at not seeing any there (dusk is the best time), this was offset by the equally rare sight of an abundance of peacock butterflies sharing the reserve on a glorious evening. As to Kilmartin itself, this tidy township boasts an excellent independent museum exhibiting ancient artefacts found in Kilmartin Glen and the surrounding area. Further afield, the Crinan Canal is a must-see. It will come as no surprise to the reader to learn that I would be very happy to repeat this birthday break with Lynn and Cameron next year. Suffice it to say that my comment in the Visitors' Book on leaving read in part: 'You have not seen the last of me!' And I meant it.

Room Tip: On a bright, hazy (autumnal) morning, the Blue Room affords a view of ethereal beauty of the standin...
