“Amazing for kids and adults”

Parco acquatico Le Caravelle
Ranked #1 of 9 things to do in Ceriale

You would not believe this aquatic park could be found where it is. It was amazing, so much to do. There were slides and pools specifically for very young children, with their own life guards. There were brilliant musical shows with proper costumes and actors, we saw Wizard of Oz. Even though it was obviously in Italian the kids loved it. There are more heart racing slides for the more adventurous, a lazy river on inflatables and even an outside discotheque complete with water fountains. It was a bit pricey but definitely worth the visit. The kids still rave about it. Do remember to put on lots of sun cream. Although there are lots of shady areas, whilst queuing for slides you can end up sun burnt.

It's a very nice water park with a good amount of slides and activities. We were travling 2 adults with kids the age of 3, 6 and 12 and we all had a lot of fun and found enough rides for each age group to try out. We actually enjoyed it so much that we used the return-for-a-second-day-at-a-discount offer.
We were there during high season and the place was busy, but not overly crowded. We arrived around noon and at that time the best chairs had been taken, but since we were on the move most of the time that really wasnt much of an issue. There are cafeterias with plenty of seating in the shade. Also the waiting time at the slides was most of the time fine. A few of the slides were very popular and there was up to 30 min wait, but there was always anothers where there was close to no waiting time. The pools with the pirateships was a lot of fun.

The food at the main cafeteria is not really super good nor cheap. In fairness - we did arrive a little outside the main lunch time and the pasta might have been more juicy and less dried up during at peak lunch time. In gerneral all food and beverages are pretty pricy as it can be expected from such a place. Seemed like a lot of people brought their own coolers with food and drinks. We did so on the 2nd day and then spend the budget on ice cream instead.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We would go again if in the area.

We spend a day in La Caravelle in July and it was an OK day. Kids (4 and 7) liked it a lot. But they spent basically all the day in the kid's pool with three small slides. There are three other kids area (two with pirate ships and slides, and another pool with three higher slides, which was not working). So kids have a lot to do. Our eldest tried a couple of other slides with my husband or me. It was not bad. There was also a small kids playground (no water), which our little one liked, and an inflatable bouncer (which was nice because it was situated in a shadowy and cool area). There is also a possibility to have your kids participate in baby/kid club (but they have to speak Italian :)) The major drawbacks of the place are the queues to attractions - these are really long, you have to wait 15-20 minutes to be able to slide for 30 seconds :) Some slides were not working in the morning, or in the evening, or not at all. What we found especially inconvenient was the need to carry cash around to be able to buy a drink or lunch (other parks we have been to had chips or electronic bracelets which were used to pay for things or services, which - having in mind your swimsuit state - is much more convenient). And the admission fee is pretty high - 21 EUR for adults, 16 EUR for kids in addition to 5 EUR for a locker, 5 EUR (don't remember exactly) to have a sunbed... All in all, that comes to a pretty substantial amount at the end of the day. But our kids loved it and would like to go back.

That place is nice, lot of funny things there. But in high season is too much crowded and you have to wait too much. That is teh typical place where to go to have a lot of fun in the middle of the week, but avoid it in week end and August.
