The architecture which deliver a feel for the ancient culture. Fabulous for those seeking intimate time with a love one or with friends. Rooms are divided in little compound of 4 rooms set up over 2 level, giving us a home away from home. Lovely view of the beach from the pool. Staff have been very accomodating to 'all' my requests. 300us/night.

Stayed at the hotel for 6 nights during new years and it was extremely deceiving. Most of the hotel is under construction and at the front of the pool! so the hotel looks like it was bombed! Very poor service, th staff doen't undertsand much and they tried add 500 dollars to my overall bill without an excuse. The food is not good and expensive for Vietnam. Meals arrived cold (and one hour later!).
The rooms are really nice and typical vietnamese but very noisy. It is not worth to be a 4.5 star hotel and the pictures on their webside are not what is really is. The only positive thing was the spa, that is nice and the massages are very good.
You can find better on the island for the price and stayed at 4.5 hotels in Vietnam that were worth the money, not this one.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the top floor of the little house and not the rooms on the main alley.

This hotel feels more culturally authentic as it's design is not modern. The rooms are divided into a number of buildings they call the ancient village. Each 3 story building has several rooms surrounding a lovely wooden staircase and small pond with fish. You enter the building through a wooden gate that opens onto the courtyard. You really feel like you're stepping back into time (in the best way). The landscaping throughout the 'village' is lush and you can't help but feel at peace as the morning sun streams through the trees.

Breakfast is served in an outdoor dining area that extends over a large pond through a few bridge like balconies. The restaurant, as does the rest of the resort, has the ancient feel to it.

We stayed 2 nights and days and absolutely enjoyed our stay. While it's true the hotel has some issues such as deteriorating wood in the bathroom, it's clean and the aesthetic of wooded furniture/bathroom, ancient village and location right on the beach more than makeup for the parts that are not perfect.

You will be sure find peace and tranquility in this idyllic location!

I am not sure if this is the same but it looks and sounds like it. The hotel is lovely but it is aquiet, peaceful location and relaxing as a result. The rooms are lovely (had a deluxe bungalow), lovely views, a minor issue was the room had an adjoining door so when joisy neighbours came along you could hear it easily. But an excellent hotel at the right price. There was some building work being finished when we were their but it was not a major issue.

Room Tip: Lovely rooms deluxe rooms have some nice sea views

Stayed in last June for 3 days trip to Phu Quoc....Closest to the airport and farthest to the busy district of Phu Quoc. Beautiful with "ancient architect" and peaceful environment. Room is comfortable and lovely view. You will enjoy this environment if you are couple... Beach is a walking distance from your room.... Still need improvement in staffings and structures but acceptable. It's not up to 5-start rating with comfortable & staffing & building structure but a lovely place to rest and enjoy your vacation....

Room Tip: Did not use fitness center & spa ...so can't say much..

Stayed here a week in June , unique architecture, lovely style but something lacking with the resort. Oddly unfinished near beach area, staff seems to consist of hotel school trainees from Philippines, all of them great, but hard to find any managers. Room comfortable , but not a hotel to spend much time in. Used it as a base for exploring the island, so adequate for that purpose.

The resort with it architecture ancient is like Hoi An. The resort quite big, so when the night come we feel sad. There is not much staff. The beach is clean and nice. Rooms are comfortable, and cozy.
