I was comfortable here. It's not luxurious but it's all riiiight.
The room was good, spacious, bug free pretty much, AC was included. TV with a few English channels.
I was there in the low season, so not much going on around the property, not many guests. You could always get a drink and something to eat when you wanted it. The food was good, nothing to rave about but good.
Paid $25 USD a night for the room. Cheaper rooms to be had nearby, but the amenities were probably not so as good.
The staff were friendly and helpful for the most part. Met the owners and a friend, good people as well. They were away much of the time.
The beach, pretty nice, the swimming was good, but garbage in the water at high tide. The fishing boats go offshore a couple of kilometers at night and fish all night. All their trash goes over the side and comes in on the tide. Not very attractive. There is an amazing beach at the southern end of the island, white sand, aqua water. Very clean.
Lots of other decent restaurants etc. in the area, a short ride away on a scooter. Scoots are cheap to rent.
