This is perfect if you want somewhere chilled with some basic essentials right on the beach, it's close to numerous other restaurants and a bar called Rory's which is just along the beach too. You have a separate bathroom with a fridge and air conditioning. For the money I thought it was very good value.

A tucked away guest house with the beach at your doorstep. I was booked into a room with sea view for a night, it was decent with basic facilities. It was worth it for the rates you pay. Food wise, I would recommend against eating at their café - I was given instant noodles for pho - it was convenient, but the taste wasn't great. Rent a scooter and head into the city for more options that have better taste and better value.

These bungalows are no frills. No fridge, no safe and no wardrobe, but it had all the essentials. There is also the added bonus of a TV and WiFi. I would advise against paying extra for a beach front bungalow, as all of the bungalows are practically on the beach anyway.

We found Kim herself to be great. Very helpful, friendly and easy to find when you need her. The bungalows are a bit expensive compared to what you might find elsewhere in South East Asia, but the prices here are comparable to similar places on Phu Quoc.

A simple, quality stay with no hassles, check-in was easy, the bungalows are a stone's throw from the beach, everything works, the rooms are small and clean, the kind you would find in any setting. Each bungalow is separate from the others so noise is reduced, and each unit has its own balcony facing the other bungalows. Only two bungalows are right on the beach, the others are in a straight line moving away from the beach. There is hot water, A/C, fan, refrigerator, plenty of towels, mosquito net and wifi, though it is very weak in the rooms. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and are not out to rip you off. The restaurant is located on the beach, yet serves average food. On some days the garbage from the fishing boats pollutes the water, but there are two guys who clean the shores every morning.

Kim's has a restaurant on the beach but only one of their 12 or so huts is actually on the beach, the others are in a long row at right angles to the beach. They are however, close to the beach which is nice. We were there for 5 days and had power outages several times every day. Our air conditioner only knew one temperature, freezing cold, so nights were challenging. The breakfasts (included) really need improvement, flavourless eggs that tasted like they were reconstituted, very leathery fake french bread that honestly we could not even eat. They also need more beach umbrellas as there were not enough for all guests to be shaded. It is family run and some of the family do try, but more effort is needed before I could recommend this place.

Room Tip: The one hut that faces the beach is too expensive for a resort like Kim's ($80.00 per night) so...

We discovered Kim's bungalows whilst staying elsewhere and decided to move to the bungalows straight away. Quite basic but hot water, huge beds, tv, air con so what more would you need
. Each bungalow had its own small balcony. Very friendly family run business where we felt very welcome. Breakfast and other meals are served right on the beach, an ideal place for drinks whilst watching the amazing sunset. We loved this place as many accommodations are not on the beach and if they are, they tend to be the huge impersonal luxury hotels. Very quiet and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again. Very honest people who gave us advise on travel arrangements, mopeds ( have their own) and places to visit. Can't recommend Kim's place enough.

Room Tip: We stayed in the bungalow at the top, facing down the path to the beach so we did nt have anyone in...

I didn't stay here, but had breakfast here most days. They had the best Vietnamese coffee with fresh croissants & pain au chocolate. Right on the seafront, where you could sit and watch the fishermen bringing in their catch.
