We were slightly put off by the fact that the Terrace Restaurant was almost empty but we decided to try it anyway. The waiters were welcoming and there is an extensive menu and quite a few reasonably priced wines, The food was particularly cheap and good value. We had a vegetable curry and a chicken with ginger and chili. Both were great. The only downside was the somewhat shambolic service. Although the staff were really pleasant and helpful, it was quite difficult to get their attention and our main courses arrived before our starters. Not only that but my curry arrived quite a while before the accompanying rice. But if you want good, inexpensive food and are chilled about the lack of "western" service, then do try it.
