This is a very new hotel. The staff are very eager and enthusiastic. Major plus points are the spotlessly clean and spacious rooms, the overall decor and "feel" of the hotel, and the location. You are just across the road from the night market (fabulous barbecued-fish restaurants) and a 5 minute stroll to the beach. We never quite figured out the breakfast menu, but it was perfectly okay. The Lighthouse Hotel is just a few minutes to many cafés and shops. A particular pleasure is an evening beer (suggestion - Saigon Green) at La Cafe next door.

And our room had a great sunset view!

Room Tip: Ask for a sea-view room if you want the sunset experience.

Beware, this hotel is way over price. There is alot of hotel availabe much nicer and alot cheaper.
Staff is ok. This hotel need a new management to run the hotel right, you will not get the service and the hotel is price way too high. Price of this hotel is more than USA Hawaii hotel for the money
Suck, Suck and Suck

Room Tip: over price, for the money i can stay in a suite in Vung Tau 4 star hotel

I paid $64 for an upgraded room. The room felt like about a $25 room and the breakfast was almost non-existent (for a westerner). I expected a bit more I guess for $64 a nite. 1 boiled egg and dry bread. No fruit or you could have cereal. They prepared it on a hotplate on the floor in a room off from the dining area. (I'll try to add the photo of the menu)The room was poorly set up and the internet was very slow at nite (over use I suspect). The hot water was only warm during the days I was there. But when I asked they just kept saying..no no, hot water is good. I suspect most of the reviews are very glowing because the front staff were darling and tried to be helpful. Housekeeping twice took away my bar of soap and left me with none. (at first they wouldn't give me any more...said I should find it) The worst was not the hotel's fault but at 5am music blared over the loudspeakers all over the area. You can't escape it. Disgusting. The whole area has been overtaken by Russians too. Most signs are in russian now. I do a lot of reviews and sad to give this one but I booked off the reviews on this site and the value was just very very bad for $64.

Room Tip: I think it doesn't help to upgrade the room. There is just no where to put stuff in the room or...

Excellent housekeeping and lovely front office staff who mostly spoke English. All very helpful with directions and booking motorbike etc would recommend this hotel as located right next to the night markets (best seafood and hot pot Iv ever had!) however would have preferred to stay on long beach for a similar price. If cannot get comparative price for beachfront accommodation, I would book this hotel.

Hotel is very clean and located right in the heart of town, so it's easy to get food or snorkel/dive trips. The staff were very friendly and helpful and you get a welcome drink upon arrival. Rooms were beautifully decorated in a nautical theme. Hot water took a while sometimes, you have to run the water for a while before it gets warm. Only minus point was the poor quality renovation, our towel rack was nearly falling off the wall, so we had to be careful and not use it.

Stayed in the triple room, which was spotless and had very comfortable beds. I had one of the best sleeps here during my stay in Vietnam. For three people staying in the room, and two beds with a small seating/table area in between, the room never felt cramped. The bathroom is clean, full of the amenities that you need, with hot water and great water pressure. Fantastic shower!

The location is across the street from the night market, where you can select the seafood you want to eat. An experience not to miss for seafood-lovers! Walking through the night market where you can buy pearls, and other trinkets, you will reach the beach. This makes the location fantastic and very convenient. Keep in mind this is not a beachfront hotel, but the walk to the beach is only a few minutes.

The breakfast served here that is included in the rate is okay, nothing to die for, but will definitely help you start your day off. There are plenty of options, western and vietnamese, to choose from.

From the boat dock to the hotel cost around 280,000 VND, while a xe om (motor scooter) was 60,000 VND.

I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again. It has been one of the best values in hotels during my stay in Vietnam so far.
