He recently stayed at Sugar Ridge and was taken to Turner's beach by Vaughn the beach shuttle guy. His sister owns the restaurant and his sun mans the beach chairs. The beach is smaller and while we were there it was almost empty. Beautiful water and snorkel gear to rent and swim right off the beach by some rocks and see amazing fish. The food was great and the price on drinks was the cheapest we found. Highly recommended.

A lovely little beach that was not crowded and had a lovely little restaurant to chill out, eat and drink as required - exceptionally clean facilities and friendly staff. Plenty of shade via fixed umbrellas, calm clear water to bathe in, and a small hut to hire all the usual water sports equipments for various boat skiing, snorkelling, and beach loungers

We stopped and swam at Turners beach, when we were on a circumnavigation tour of the island on the Wadaldi Cat, the whole day was excellent, lunch and an open bar provided, and we also stopped at Green Island for some snorkelling.

Great clean beach, gentle waves and loads of white sand. At the beach restaurant you can rent a lounge chair; sip a nice cold ($5 US) adult beverage (highly recommended), grab a sandwich and relax. There's shade on one side and sun on the other, as well as a dozen or so "permanent" umbrellas offered on a first come basis.

We only encountered one elderly gentleman selling trinkets on the beach and he was not aggressive. There is a small vendor area on the beach adjacent to the restaurant for purchases.

As we were the only ship in port that day, we didn't have to contend with a crowded beach and had a leisurely quiet day. If there several ships happened to be in port dumping passengers all at once it would probably have been a different story.

For us it was a great relaxing afternoon and a beautiful beach.
