I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. Great staff and service, great food, great atmosphere, great views from the terrace. I will definitely recommend Moon mountain lodge. Especially for couples it was a very romantic place to stay.

This lodge is in the middle of a gorgeous and isolated location. The place is very peaceful with amazing views. The facilities are great. Huge and very private rooms/tents with your own little pool. From ours the sunset was spectacular. We took a bath on the pool (not heated) every day during sunset to cool down after all days at the desert. The sky is beautiful at nights. The staff are polite and friendly. The food was very good (they made every night special vegetarian dinner for me, including breakfast bags that we took with us every day). 100% a great stay!

When we arrived at the Moon Mountain Lodge we were immediately mesmerized! The cabins are all on the sides of a tall hill. We got there at sunset, which only made it more beautiful. As soon as we arrived at the Reception the friendly staff informed me that there was no wi fi and they had no idea when it would come back. I asked if there was any way to make an international phone call, just to let our family know we had arrived safely, but they said unfortunately it was not possible. I was a little disappointed, but imagined that the logistics are not easy in this gorgeous isolated location. The room was comfortable, but a little run down and no keys! When you leave your room it is open for anyone who wants to get in. When you are in it, you can lock from the inside. I really needed a shower and what a great disappointment to find that a self proclaimed luxury lodge did not have the basic toilletiries in the bathroom. No shampoo. Only a liquid soap. Unacceptable for the price that is charged. The toilette was also in need of replacement. When we went to dinner, we were surprised that there was no lighting on the way. We had to use our celphones, which was ok but someone could have warned us about it. Dinner and breakfast were compatible with a 3 star hotel buffet. Ok, but not delicious. The views do make up for a lot of the problems, and the staff were pretty friendly. This lodge could be great. However, it is only ok.

Amazing view from the rooms. Private mini pool. We saw a sand storm coming from the restaurant terrace ! I took a bath at sunset and the view was out of this world. the bedding is very comfortable. Maybe a bit too expensive. Food could ba a bit more refined.

Room Tip: Take the highest room on the hill :o)
