So after looking at all the reviews here, I decided that since I wanted lobster for my dinner that Fish Pot would be a great place to try. and boy was I not disappointed. Firstly, it pays to make a reservation. This place can get packed very fast as there are only six tables. The restaurant was a bit hard to find but once we found it we were a little sad at the simple state of the restaurant but in this case looks are deceiving. It's very plain tables and wooden chairs hides the fact that the food is packed with taste! As a gift the owner very generously gifted us a slice of cheescake. A wonderful experience indeed and one where I shall visit each time I come to Tobago.

We discovered the Fish Pot whilst on a round island drive and subsequently returned on numerous occasions. It is a good location just across the road from the beach and close to Harrison Ford's hideaway. The food is reasonably priced, well prepared using local ingredients and flavours which mean that the fish is particularly fresh. Recommend fish chowder, tomatoes and goat cheese, and jerk fish and plantains. My shrimp dinner was stunning (see the photo). It is a wonderful place to stop for brilliant food, cold beer or chilled wine and very friendly staff.

We have eaten here maybe 6 times in the last 3 years (2 trips). Lunch time is when we go - sitting outside eating tremendous fresh fish and sometimes if we are lucky there is some key lime pie left!

We ate at the Fish Pot three times during our 14 nights in Tobago...so that says a lot.
The menu is brought to your table on a blackboard, and with about 5 or 6 starters and mains to choose from, there is enough choice for everyone.
The food is mostly local and cooked to perfection with a nice mixed salad served in between the starter and main course.
Everything is cooked to order, so if the restaurant is busy you may have to wait a little while, but it is worth waiting for.
I have no hesition in recommending this delightful restaurant.

My cousin and i will normally try new place on a monthly basis, after working hard for the entire we traditionally treat our selves to find dining.

We hear about this place and decide to give them a try. upon arrival there was a large group waiting to be serve, therefore we had to play the wait game well.

We were informed to wait a bit to be serve, which we understood due to d fact of d large group, not knowing our wait was a result of being short staff. this entire restaurant is being operate by 3 person who can not control a large crowd.

Our menu was presented n a blackboard, in keeping with d nature ancient look, which was well suited, but we had to wait on that as well, since there was only one and this had to b move from table to table.

Finally our meal, appetizer was not all that appetizing, i had the crayfish as the main course which was tasty but a small portion, after waiting so long i was very hungry so d meal will not filling.
