“If we could give it 6 stars we would.”

I honestly can't say enough about our stay at Seascape. It met every expectation we had for a honeymoon destination. We were looking for a travel spot, not a tourist trap. Castara Bay was the perfect choice, and the people at Seascape have designed a cottage that enhances all that Tobago has to offer. The views are amazing and can be enjoyed through wall to wall windows that swing open and bring the outside in. The well appointed kitchen made creating romantic meals a breeze. The view from the master bedroom was absolutely spectacular and was made better by soothing sounds of the ocean crashing on the beach below. We were so sad to have to leave as every thing and everyone made us feel right at home. When we look at our vacation pictures we see a place we can't wait to return to.

“The ultimate relaxing holiday place!”

We have found Seascape an absolute place of serenity. Relaxing
at the beach, wayting for the fisherman to come back, get some
fish from them, and cook it on the spot, at the beach! Absolutely brilliant!

The owner and manager have really helped us out with the transport from Trinidad. They have proven to be people you
can count on.

The appartments themselves are everything you need and could wish for. Everything is there. And even more important, the view in the evening is to die for.

The overall experience was perfect, and would recommend it
to anyone.

Thanks for all your help David,

Kind regards,

Tim Lensen

“A wonderful place to get away from it all!”
Reviewed 6 June 2009 for a stay in April 2009

Stayed at Seascape for a week and loved it. The view alone from the bedroom is worth the trip. The spacious, clean rental overlooks the water and had all the comforts of home. The beach was less than a one minute walk and the town of Castara had a wonderful energy full of warm and gracious locals. The roti at Vera's restaurant shouldn't be missed! I would highly recommend a visit to Castara Bay and a stay at Seascape. If you're looking for a serene setting to relax and recharge than look no further, this is the place!

“Room with a view”
Reviewed 30 May 2009 for a stay in April 2009

This is the first time we have ever written a review, but this place was just incredible!!
This wasn't only a room with a breathtaking view, the shower was unreal... you can see the whole bay , the amazing sunset & the fisherman all from the shower!!
The house was very clean, best location in castara & really as you can tell we loved it! Its been built so you feel like you are living in your very own private treehouse.
Rain forest is 15min drive away, through beautiful traffic free roads, englishmans bay is 5min drive which is stunning! we were scared of the crime in tobago due to what we read beforehand, but not once did we feel in any way uncomfortable, the locals can be a little abrupt but soon soften. all in all had the best time, but this was due to seascape, the romance of the place is hard to beat.
it would be hard to beat this place

“SeaScape Castara - A Slice of Paradise”
Reviewed 30 January 2009 for a stay in January 2009

We have just returned from a wonderful stay in WindSong, the one bedroom apartment of Seascape in Castara, Tobago. We felt very privileged to be its first paying guests. The welcome we received from Porridge and Lavonne was very warm and put us right at ease. Porridge does airport transfers, so he was there to meet us off the plane. On the way to Castara he took us to a supermarket and a fruit store so we could stock up ... although these days there is also a small supermarket in Castara itself. He made sure to pop in most days to check everything was OK and struck just the right balance between being friendly and available whilst not intruding into our privacy. Lavonne cleans the apartments every few days and changes all the linen ... almost a hotel level of service! The apartment itself exceeded all our expectations in almost every respect. The view from the balcony/living room/bedroom really is spectacular, giving a lovely open feeling to the indoor space. Because of the elevation above the beach it still feels very private ... though watch out when the afternoon sun comes into the living room as you then become visible to inquisitive sea swimmers! You can see the sea and fishing boats without really being conscious of the other apartments around the bay. It makes you feel like you own the whole place! You can’t beat the relaxation of sitting on the west-facing balcony with a drink, watching the sun go down over the sea.The kitchen was better kitted out than we expected (no less than 6 gas rings on the hob!) with a good size fridge/freezer. There are plenty of cooking utensils but to be honest we were too lazy to use these preferring the simple but delicious fare in the local restaurants, which are all within easy walking distance. In the morning you can sit at the well-positioned breakfast bar looking out over the bay. The bedroom is simply but elegantly furnished and the en-suite bathroom of a much better standard than we have come across in other self catering places in the area. All in all, this apartment is a lovely base from which to enjoy the beauty of Castara. Seascape is unrivalled in its combination of proximity to the sea and almost complete privacy. Certainly not a budget choice, but in our view if you can afford it, the extra money is well spent.
