My husband and I had a meal here after he had checked out the better restaurants on the island as he is working out here and wanted us to have a special meal out and he chose here. It is a shame dining here as the view is of course lost in the dark as the sun goes down so early but nevertheless it is in a beautiful location. Having thought it was an expensive top class restaurant we dressed appropriately and were somewhat shocked to see fellow diners in jeans, casual shorts back packs and beach cover ups!!! I feel the Restaurant should address this oversight as although the Seychelles is a very laid back place there still should be some sort of dress code! For me it rather spoilt the evening.
I had the seafood risotto to start which was delicious and the fillet of beef for main which was again delicious but there was a very tiny amount of mashed potato with it and that was your lot! Desert was an apple tart which my husband ate as the pastry was uncooked and looked very anaemic but the coconut icecream with it was divine. My hubby had mushroom risotto and the lamb and a mango parfait which he enjoyed along with my apple tart! We had a bottle of red wine which yes was very cold when brought to us but soon warmed up so no issue there. The waitresses were attentive but not overly to be annoying and were rather sweet. The cost was £110 which we expected and thought was reasonable. We weren't blown away by the food but it was a pleasant experience nevertheless. And I would go back again for the seafood risotto and a huge bowl of the coconut ice cream!
