My boyfriend & I stayed here for 2 nights and had an incredible time. We stayed in a garden bure complete with outdoor sunbed, hammock and an outdoor bathroom too! It was stunning not to mention very clean.
The food at the resort was delicious and there was a decent selection of meals to choose from.
The sea was crystal clear and great for snorkelling, with no strong current or big waves.
All the staff were incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for you.
Thank you for a fantastic stay!

The resort would be really nice, but we had an overall bad experience as they gave us a bungalow in front if a pool under construction, so we heard the workers making all sorts of noises the whole day long, and it wasn't really what we'd call a relaxing stay! At our disappointment the management offered just a free massage, which honeslty, wasn't even that nice...
I guess that with an ocean side bungalow it would have been much better, but they were sold out since months...
Kitschen over the average of other Fijian resorts but the whole resort is, although maybe more comfortable, less original and folkloristic than other basic resorts.
I also didn't get the point of having a pool when you have such a marvellous ocean to swim in!

My husband and I had 4 lovely nights staying at this resort. We caught the Yasawa Flyer from Paradise Cove and enjoyed the 2 hr trip. It was calm when we arrived and we had the usual friendly singing from the staff to welcome us. We stayed in a garden bungalow and it was fantastic for what we wanted. it was spacious, light and clean with a very comfortable bed. We did not have air con but didn't need it as the fans were adequate. We were there in their winter and so the evenings were not hot. I may need air con at other times of the year. We had a lovely outdoor bathroom which was also spacious. No hair dryer is provided but I didn't need to use one the whole visit or wear shoes for that matter and that is what we loved. Food was fantastic and plentiful, snorkelling off the beach , out onto the reef excellent and easy and the relaxed ambience with a spectacular crystal clear bay lapping up on a white sandy beach was heaven. There were activities offered but we were a bit lazy but you would need to book early as we did want to go on the village visit but missed out. We met so many nice and interesting people from around the world and liked the social nature of the resort with it also being low key. You can have couples time if you want but also mix with others. We had a massage which was good and cheap. I was sad to leave and we know we will make every effort to return one day. If you want a flash resort with all mod cons, super slick service and TV, etc, this is not the place for you. It is modern but in a rustic Charming way and very clean and service is typical Fiji time service but just what we expected and wanted. the beach front bungalows looked lovely so if you can afford them go for it as the location is to die for.

Generally we always go somewhere different for our holidays however after spending a wonderful week at BLBR two years ago, we decided to return.

Since our last visit, they have built new villas and we booked a 2brm garden villa for our family of four. These villas (there are four of them) are set in probably the quietest location but still very close to the beach. The rooms were large, spacious and well equipped. The indoor/outdoor bathroom is really quite special. Our children had their own room, that not only had separate access to the bathroom but also outdoors. Very well thought out and designed villas.

There is also the addition of the pool which is nice and the seating area has again been well thought out and designed with day bed style loungers. The pool was kept spotlessly clean but we hardly used it preferring to be on the beach and swimming in the sea.

It was noticeable that the resort has increased in size and we hope that this is as far as they go to avoid losing the intimate feel. With alot of people choosing to eat on the deck by the pool on small tables, the main restaurant dining area felt empty at times when the resort was infact full.

The office, especially Marika, are incredibly welcoming and very helpful. The book exchange is also a nice touch.

They offer free WiFi around the pool/bar area which wasn't available on our last visit but it wasn't that reliable probably due to the remote location of BLBR. I was tired of hearing people complaining about it and wasn't happy seeing the kids (not mine!) plugging away on their devices but thats just the way the world is. If you need to have reliable, high speed internet access on your holiday - go somewhere else or don't complain!!

The food is of a good standard and we enjoyed the variety on offer. The meal plan is definitely great value and I have no issues with having this as a compulsory part of your stay.

The Sunday night church choir was beautiful and our kids also enjoyed movie night under the stars where they lounged on bean bags and munched on popcorn.

BLBR is a small and remote resort. The staff are friendly and it typically feels more "Fijian" than alot of other island resorts I have visited. Yes, they are often on Fiji time but its a lovely spot in a beautiful location.

This was a great little resort away from the main island. It's a long boat rude out there but once you are there you don't want to leave. The place is not super fancy or over the top but it has everything that you need for a great holiday. There are good activities to keep you entertained each day. The people are great and welcomed everyone from the moment we got there. Definitely one of the nicer places to stay in Fiji!!!!

Blue lagoon resort is a really lovely place. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food was amazing with a huge variety to choose from. The Fijian buffet was a highlight. Don't bother snorkelling right in front, make sure you follow the rock ridge out to the left and you won't be disappointed. It's very nice infact almost better than the sights on the snorkelling tour where sadly there was a lot of bleached coral. It would have been beneficial to tell guests not to touch or stand on the coral when they arrive as people were doing this and children throwing rocks into the delicate coral! The beach is lovely with beach front bures prime location. It was sometimes difficult to find a spot on the beach though as most of the lounges were reserved. I stayed in the dorm and lodge room which were both fantastic and great value.
A word of warning. During NZ and Aus school holidays this resort was overwhelmed with family groups with small children. The pool most days was overtaken with loud squealing games of "Marco Polo" and this was really not a nice environment for the other guests. I would defiantly stay here again but not in school holidays. I loved this place though. The caves were great. Kayaking was just so beautiful and I met wonderful people, other solo travellers who made my trip. My favourite resort in the Yasawas. I was very sad to leave and the amount of guests that return year after year speaks for itself. The Fijian people are so friendly and welcoming. ( make sure you watch a volley ball match!) loved this place

Our family, 3 generations, has just enjoyed 5 nights at Blue Lagoon. Perfect for one and all. Safe for the children, who could snorkel straight off the beach, and see truly wondrous underwater sites. Safe for the grandmother too, for the same reasons! Plenty of activities available, if you can tear yourself away from concentrated lolling. The pool makes a great diversion. The village visit was great, and the school visit was terrific. Top points to the boarders who have to roll out for visitor entertainment on a regular basis. Blue Lagoon food was excellent, and how easy it is, with the meal plan. Serving the children a little earlier, then showing them a movie, or having games while the adults eat, is a great way for everyone to enjoy the evening meal. A lot of thought has gone into making this resort fuss-free. Congratulations.
