Little Gem of a restaurant built into the branches and rots of a very large tree on the beach. Lovely to sit and eat near open windows straight onto the sea. The only disappointment to us was that we decided to order only sandwiches,, which where freshly made for us and delicious, however the we then had to sit and experience wonderful meals passing by our table; freshly cooked lobster, platters of sea food, Bread Fruit Pie and Shrimp Creole, will definitely return when I have not eating a large breakfast. Note that this is closed on a Saturday and doesn't serve alcohol but my orange juice wa freshly squeezed for me.

The food is delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Request a table near the window for a good view of the ocean. Orders take about 30 to 45 minutes. Lots of birds fly through the restaurant, although not annoying. VIew of boats that take visitors to Bucco Reef. Staff is courteous and helpful.

It takes long time to get your meal/food serve at least 45 minutes from the time you order. Make sure your not very hungry or in a hurry. Location is perfect by the beach and great view of the islands across the ocean. Food also is good if you have the appetite of waiting 45 minutes.

If you go to Tobago, you must have lunch at Jemma’s restaurant. It’s right on the ocean and has a wonderful ambience. The staff is kind and professional and the food is out of this world – fresh, lots of variety, great tastes and textures – a wonderful place to have a big, satisfying, healthy mid-day meal. Don’t miss it when visiting this beautiful island with its gracious, laid-back people.

Excellent food, in a delightful setting right on the beach at Speyside. Very genuine Caribbean cooking, but a class above most other local restaurants. Very much recommended.
