We decided to stop here on our way to Dublin as it was a very bad rainy day and needed a break. We ran inside and felt a bit disapointed as it was nothing fancy. We had a look at the menu and decided to try the food. The staff were a bit all over the place so we went up to the bar and ordered from the girl on the till. It is more like a cafe than a pub and was quite busy. Our food arrived fairly quick and was excellent value for money. I had a starter, chicken salad which was only €4.95 and was a good sized portion. My other half had the mixed grill with chips around €10 and was very pleased with it, good portions and very reasonable. If you are hungry and would like something good and at a reasonable price this is the place to go. As I said the place is fairly basic and the staff were a bit under pressure that day but the food made up for it.
